Popular Post riderpride Posted April 24 Popular Post Posted April 24 I love misheard song lyrics - my brother in law is notorious for these, and I'm sure he's been more wrong than right. This one's a new twist on a classic. What else sticks out to you? Cheers! 2 3
Popular Post JohnS Posted April 24 Popular Post Posted April 24 'Our Lips Are Sealed' by the Go-Go's. I had a friend who swore it was 'Alex the Seal' for years! Another one would be 'Kissed by a Rose' by Seal. (No pun intended there!) To this day no-one knows if he's been kissed by a rose on the grey or on the grave. 5 1
Popular Post Habanoschris Posted April 24 Popular Post Posted April 24 In 1992 a high school friend was singing The Rolling Stones song Beast of Burden ... "I'll never leave your pizza burning". Still makes me laugh till this day. 3 6

riderpride Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 This one's a biiig stretch, but this is how my BIL's ear works: Due to the autotune at ~ the 2:30 mark in Daft Punk's Get Lucky, he instead hears 'we're up a Mexican cupcake', whatever that is. 😜 I've queued it up. Cheers! 1 2

"she don't like fat canada heywood" i'm sure all aussies will iimmediately see the problem. i laughed like a drain. 1

This one had atmosphere. always liked Manfred Mann's version but the best version by a squillion miles for me is the springsteen Live in Dublin. he does a very different cover of his own song. love it. go to 1.51.40 in the video below. so different to both versions. or better still, listen to the lot. amazing energy and they just look like they are having so much fun. you can almost imagine being in a smoky crowded pub while they played this. 1 1
