I have had some 'stunners' (as we colloquially say) this last weekend, when the intermittent weather finally took a break and the sun shone throughout the two days. I would say that my best cigar of March was smoked on this weekend; a MAR Ene 2020 Cohiba Siglo III, which just 'pipped' a Quai d'Orsay Imperiales and No.52.

Bolivar Royal Caronas (MSU September 2018). This has been the best from the box so far. Very creamy earth with gram cracker. Great burn (three ashes) and the final quarter/nub was salty. Smooth with a long finish.

A very close call between these two.

Edmundo Dantes Conde 54 Edición Regional México 2011.

Partagás Línea Maestra Rito (ESU MAR24).

Was definitely surprised by how well the Rito performed. After enjoying the Origen a few days prior, I can honestly say that the Línea Maestra releases are worthy of space inside the humidor.

I'm really jealous of all of these Habanos cigars that everyone is sharing, I am hoping our fortunes change soon and I will be able to continue to build up my stock to enjoy like you gentlemen, and ladies. I hate to be a kiss a**, but working my way through the Fab5 sampler has been stunning for me. The one that caught me off guard the most was the Corta Suave, bloody brilliant.

A brilliant Monte # 4 - first from the box (RUB May-19); smoked with just a glass of water. Started with the cold draw - subtle but sweet, milk chocolate. Took about 4 draws before I decided to light it up. First two-thirds was sort of like smoking a smores. Last third came across a flavor I'd never had in a Monte before. Took a while to identify and then it finally hit me, peanut-brittle. An absolute wowzer of a cigar!
