MoeFOH Posted Monday at 10:36 PM Posted Monday at 10:36 PM Simple comp: Two questions (sometimes about cigars but mostly not). First question will ask you for your choice between two things. Second will be to ask you if that was a "don't make me choose!" or "No contest" question for you. Vote in the poll, discuss below if you wish . All participants go into the random draw for a 5-pack of MOFOH Robusto Trinity . (drawn Monday mornings AEST) 2
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted Monday at 10:42 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 10:42 PM Give me a better ending to Game of Thrones and this would have been tougher for me. Game of Thrones had a 15 meter lead in the anchor leg of the 4X100 relay and dropped the baton on the backstretch. 5 1
Popular Post riderpride Posted Monday at 11:02 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 11:02 PM Breaking Bad, and no contest. Game of Thrones had HBO money and I had my fill of Fantasy novels when I was 12 and 13 and didn't have much left for the genre. Breaking Bad was a Hail Mary from a failing network that launched them. It had a more realistic story and had people questioning their own morality wondering if they'd do the same in that situation. Much more relatable at the start. Cheers! 6
Popular Post westg Posted Monday at 11:41 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 11:41 PM One for the post count. I can say I have not watched a single episode of either. Ballers gets my vote only because it had the rock in it. There is a blue sky outside. 🌴😎 5 1
Gubbins Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Went with Breaking Bad and no contest. But as others have said, if they didn’t mess up the GoT final season, it could have been different. 4
Popular Post JohnS Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM Breaking Bad. I've watched the whole series twice and I could easily do it a third time. Vince Gilligan is an incredible writer. Just ask all the folks watching Pluribus on Apple TV right now! 6
Popular Post Ford2112 Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Breaking Bad. 6
Popular Post zacca Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM Breaking Bad. No contest. Not into that weird fantasy stuff. 7
Popular Post Lucas Buck Posted yesterday at 03:55 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 03:55 AM Breaking Bad don’t make me choose. Breaking is my all time favorite. I watched it from the beginning week to week old school. Since then I’ve watched it at least six or seven times. Better Call Saul might be even better but I’ve only watched it twice so the jury is still out. Love GoT. Had the writers not shat the bed in the final season as many before mentioned might be another story. Still very close for me. 5
Capn_Jackson Posted yesterday at 05:34 AM Posted yesterday at 05:34 AM Breaking Bad. I selected no contest, but mainly because it’s good to the last drop. Gus is more terrifying than the Night King. Now, if every episode of GoT were as good as S5:E8 “Hardhome,” it would be a tough choice. 4
Çnote Posted yesterday at 06:31 AM Posted yesterday at 06:31 AM Game of Thrones is an incredible series of books which I have been waiting for for my entire adult life. The TV show started extremely strong and ended on a wet fart at best. I couldn't ever really get into Breaking Bad. No contest by order of the Peaky Blinders 14 hours ago, Capn_Jackson said: Gus is more terrifying This actor would bring menace to a Barbie commercial. 1 1
Li Bai Posted yesterday at 08:17 AM Posted yesterday at 08:17 AM I've fairly enjoyed watching GoT but Breaking Bad wins, no contest. This poll reminds me of a chat I had with some random girl 20 years ago in a Café in Paris. She was sitting next to me, both on our own, I was sipping my "café allongé" when she began talking to me. She was cute, the little chit chat was going well until the point she noticed the book I had just put down on the table in front of me: - You're a reader, really nice! It's a big book, what is it? - Thanks, yeah it's Dostoïevski's "The Brothers Karamazov". Probably the best book I've read so far, you should give it a shot! At that point I'm pretty sure she's gonna ask me what it is about, but it was one of those moments in life when you learn that one cannot foresee what's gonna happen next... - Oh God, if you like big books you should read the last Harry Potter! she said, very excited. One could see in her eyes she had no idea she'd just committed an unforgivable sacrilege so I wasn't even mad, I was amazed... To be frank I don't recall what was said after that but I've never seen her again, I must have fled the scene quickly. Well, long story short, Breaking Bad is a masterpiece, GoT is good entertainment so it's basically an "apples and oranges" situation. 2 1 1
ha_banos Posted yesterday at 09:15 AM Posted yesterday at 09:15 AM Echoing really. I found A Song of Ice and Fire via Dragon Age which was influenced by the stories and setting. Really enjoyed the book series. Which is still not complete I've just looked up. The series just brought it to life. But had it's shortcomings. Breaking Bad. Wtf lol. I got through about 5 or 6 episodes many years ago and just got bored and disinterested. Don't get it. If its fantasy you want, then go full fantasy! 1 1

Season 1 is almost only character development with Gilligan, go through it and you shall be rewarded 👍 1
gormag38 Posted yesterday at 01:29 PM Posted yesterday at 01:29 PM Breaking Bad is arguably the best show ever released. (yes I went there). I don't typically re-watch a TV series but I did with BB and it was still just as good as the first time. GoT was also a VERY good show but was lacking in 'something'. Quite possibly it was the terrible ending that others had suggested above. 2
Ruggerpgh99 Posted yesterday at 02:17 PM Posted yesterday at 02:17 PM I think the rushed ending of GoT brings it down, and I know a lot of people love BB, including the ending. For me, I think the hatred for the end of GoT is overblown, it was rushed, but in retrospect, it got to the logical conclusion that we were leading up to, it just should have taken 8 more seasons to get there. 1
Andrewk_223 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Breaking Bad! GoT got to far away from the books and the series went stale even before the terrible ending. 1
TheFez Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It was a bit tough call for me, but ultimately as many others mentioned due to GoT falling flat on its face with the ending the nod goes to Breaking Bad. Man, they really screwed that one up royally. I remember GoT being the only thing people were talking about, and now it seems there is no legacy whatsoever compared to shows like the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire, etc. I'm still pissed about it, all it needed was another season to close it up properly. 😑 1 1
mikejh Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I think the opening scene of GoT was the high point. 1
Dlowil Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago This was tough. I'm a sucker for fantasy epics. The ending of GOT was like smoking a cigar leaving you unfulfilled and wanting another. It was however a cultural juggernaut. Breaking Bad was solid from start to the very end. That being said, GOT is more my scene. The scale. The Lore. The Spectacle. GOT by a hair. 4
riderpride Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Update - double-down on BB as I don't recall a GOT actor pulling off a performance like this. It might be the Jesse audition tape for all I know. Cheers!
joeypots Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Breaking Bad. My inner 12 year old favored GOT for the early episode naked ladies but HBO had to cut that out by season 3. GOT was a great example of how hard it is to wrap things up in a long series without getting ridiculous. And it did get ridiculous. Breaking bad will stand up over time. IMHO. Better Call Saul didn't suck either. 1
