It says they will be in plain packaging at retailers but will there be the band under the plain packaging one? Also are they getting a box separately???

Going to be released in February.

Looking forward to them. Packaging will ruin the excitement though 😒. Thanks for the update!

Cheers

Maybe this is me being an optimist, but hoping the box can be obtained in some roundabout way.

I routinely edit Topic Titles to make them easier to reference and search in the future. When the image size if enlarged like that, the easiest thing to do is save and upload the image manually.

Getting these in the original box will be quite a novelty. I like the Fonseca marca, but never had a Fonseca Regional before 😒

Well gee wiz, I will get some from out of here and give them a try. Totally agree Fonseca is not the marca we would line up for. But hey, at least it is not a 3” 52. Those are more irritating IMO 😆.

Cheers!

Had a wonderful conversation with Jay the owner of LCDH Windsor learned a lot about the industry here in Canada and Havana House.

They might be actually available in January was what he was told. Also confirmed no box, it will just be cardboard but the bands will be under the plain packaging, one which is a bummer but Havana House doesn't want to get a trouble, so no box.

Nope didn't share that because it would only be a guess and he didn't want provide something he wasn't sure of.

One online retailer has already opened pre-orders at $69.99 CAD per stick. Even with current Cuban prices, it’s still too much for Fonseca, in my opinion.

That’s bonkers. Current Regional Editions with that vitola are 30 USD max.

I have had some great Canadian Regionals in the past. Ramon Allones Super Allones was a fantastic cigar.

Agreed. The VR and Boli Canadian REs have been awesome. Never tried the Dip Nortenos but have heard 'some' say good things about them. If someway a box became available on a grey market site, and the price wasn't absolutely absurd, I'd likely jump at it. Simply based off of track record with other REs.

Those Simones were great smokes. Back in the day I believe Czar (FOH) had access to the Canadian REs and I bought my 50 Cab here.

The only Canada ER's I have left are the VR Petit Unicos, which are great.

PCC had a stake in Havana House (the Canadian distributor) so they had access to Canadian REs which meant Rob/FOH had access to them for 24:24. That partnership ended some time ago, unfortunately.
