BG318 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 The smoking warning looks like nothing I have seen in my experience. I would be suspicious of that, but I wouldn't try any CoRo at the price listed anyway. What do I know?
Gubbins Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Underside looks very pristine for an ‘18 year old’ box. 🤷♂️ This is deal or no deal with £400 ticket.
Wookie Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Why would the seller knowingly sell a legit box for that price? 3
Islandboy Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Something about that factory/date code stamp and font doesn’t sit well with me. I’d pass. 3
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted October 28 Popular Post Posted October 28 I’ll pass. The obvious part is that they’re too inexpensive. Also, the nitpicky side of me thinks it looks like the seal was added after the original was removed. The new one didn’t quite cover the original glue stain. 5

LizardGizmo Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Box code font and color are way off. Wouldn’t touch it. 3

GP012 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Box code stamp font/color was a dead giveaway. Also, the warranty seal is misplaced as the coat of arms should be aligned on the fold and/or land on the seam of the lid. 3
Mike Mecklenburg Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Box Seal looks good Warranty Seal looks good Country of Manufacturer Stamp looks good Date Stamp color looks funny but Cuba being Cuba Yes, I would buy it. 1
Salomones Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Partagas fabric. Year matches too. I don't see what could be really wrong. Especially for this time period. Pictures of UV light would maybe helpful.
gormag38 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I too noticed it was the Partagas factory; which does make CORO but seems to be infrequently (maybe not in the past though?). On top of that the font looks weird (which could be Cuba being Cuba). But the ink looks too fresh/bold for me too; coupled with the fact that it looks to be in pristine shape underneath. Given the super low price and the notes made prior I'd pass on this one.

No, because only what I'm seeing isn't enough and the website has poor oversight. If I can't open the box and look at the cigars and the bands it's a non-starter. 3
