BrightonCorgi Posted October 13 Posted October 13 There's an ongoing corruption case against Benjamin Netanyahu for some time. According to court testimony and prosecution documents: From Arnon Milchan (Hollywood producer and billionaire): Cigars: Valued at NIS 267,254 (approx. $75,000) Champagne: Valued at NIS 184,448 (approx. $52,000) From James Packer (Australian billionaire): Cigars and Champagne: Valued at NIS 229,174 (approx. $64,500) Total estimated value: Over $190,000 in cigars and champagne alone. Does anyone know of the actual inventory of cigars and Champagne? 2
SCgarman Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Please tell me why this matters on such a profound day for world peace. 👎 1 1
HellfirePeninsula Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Must be some nice cigars. Not sure if I'd ever pair cigars with champagne.
BassMass Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Champagne for the ladies, cigars for the men et voila you have peace... Any questions??? 1 2
BrightonCorgi Posted October 13 Author Posted October 13 Without seeing the list, my hunch is that the valuations are much higher than the actual real value. Then again, may be they're a lot closer today than they were when allegedly given. TLV has one of the better selections of Habanos at the Duty Free along with a large cigar lounge.

Havanaaddict Posted October 14 Posted October 14 The Jerusalem Post How much time did Netanyahu spend smoking cigars? Approximately 3,240 hours. Some 135 days. That’s how much time Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have spent smoking mostly Cohiba Siglo V cigars over the last nine years. This is based on a rough estimate, taking into account the details of the police report on its probe into Netanyahu released on Tuesday. Netanyahu and his family are alleged to have received gifts of a total value of NIS 1 million, which included cigars, champagne and jewelry. According to reports on Israeli TV in January, the gifts included Cohiba Siglo V cigars and Dom Pérignon, although this was disputed by Netanyahu’s lawyer at the time. "This a post back win 2018" 2

BrightonCorgi Posted October 14 Author Posted October 14 From the earlier picture he's smoking in his living room, 1997. He used to live in Boston, I wonder if he was going Dunhill on Newbury or one of the old school cigar shops around Boston & Cambridge?
joeypots Posted October 14 Posted October 14 He spent a fair amount of time at MIT and Harvard so he probably roamed the streets a bit.
El Presidente Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Gents, this thread was always likely to raise geopolotical issues. It was allowed to stand (just), simply because the cigar (and champagne) aspect was front page news globally yesterday. That is the reason that it was tolerated. 1
