VR Unicos. I've had much better luck with figurados once I started sorting every box by individual cigar weights, and then smoking them from lightest to heaviest. Once you get past the first couple of under-filled cigars, you start to get some nice experiences. This was one such case. Excellent smoke, however I couldn't keep the ash on for longer than pictured.

Today it was a Warped La Colmena 10th Anniversary Amado No. 50. Some Trinidad-adjacent flavors here, but overall not a cigar I would revisit. However, this was a perfectly constructed cigar and I managed the longest ash over this past week. It fell off right after I took this pic.

R&J Short Churchill. The first inch and half of this stick was a solid peg of glued together tobacco that would not burn. I ended up having to physically snap it off the rest of the cigar before I could properly light up. Lots of construction issues from this 2022 10-ct box. 50% of the box had significant issues like this -- that makes each of the smokable cigars cost twice as much as originally thought.

The pic shows the ash I was able to produce after the surgery. This fell off shortly after this picture was taken and the remainder of the cigar was tossed because the flavor was no bueno.

Whenever I try and get my big ash going, I end up spilling it all over myself. Maybe because I mostly smoke outdoors with a fan on. The best ash pick I have is probably this Blue Eyed Jacks revenge in Robusto.
