Hell, why don’t I just make him a giant cracker at that point and serve myself up as an afternoon snack???

“Assuming that the crocodile has an upward jaw movement equal to the square of his downward velocity, we can then safely calculate the time that it would…”

Add some vegemite while you're at it.

I do not know you well enough to comment on the "giant cracker" part...

I could never, visit, yes, retire, no. Something in the water down there for those animals and bugs to become that large.

A Giant Wood Moth. They are perfectly fine and won't bother you... as far as you know... :lookaround:

The real pain in the arse is the Bogong moth. They are attracted to light (like all moths) and will travel huge distances. During the Sydney Olympics, they were tracking Bogong moths travelling from as far away as Canberra. Many ended up cremated in the Olympic Cauldron, and raining down crispy moths on the spectators below.

they are moths. they are not going to hurt you. and i think the pic might have been dodgied up a bit. as for the Olympics, they did build the stadium where the moths had been migrating to annually for millions of years.

something i learnt recently, we apparently have the world's most venomous ants - the jackjumper ants in Tasmania - which can kill you and have been responsible for a number of deaths. and if you don't die from the sting, you wish to your divinity you would. jackjumper ants sound like something from the Hunger Games.
