$7000 a box of 10? it's not that bad/price justification.

Now can all of you Debbie Downers just pull your head in for a moment. Since the Festival I have heard nothing but wailing from cigar lovers about how HSA has lost its marbles regarding the pricing of the Behike 58. 

However it was all put into perspective when I chatted to a cigar loving mate last week as he asked me when I expected the 58 to be available.  "Third quarter", thereabouts, was my response but I cautioned him that the retail was expected to be $7000 a box of 10.

"$700 a cigar" he mused

"Cigar that size....roughly 2 1/2 hours?" he muttered aloud. 

Finally he says, "Not bad. Roughly half the price of a top end Russian escort"  

.......I just broke out laughing before replying along the lines "That is an interesting observation "*******". You are getting screwed by Habanos for half the price".

Behike (although I have seen the spelling as behique) is the doctor and the priest of the Taino tribe. Gizmo and the Lizards just reviewed the B58's a few weeks ago and gave it a 7.3/10. Hard to justify the pricing when there are plenty of 25 count boxes available for the price of one stick. John
