SUP8333 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 This is mine, I have a few boxes of smaller vitolas so I just grab and go when I don't want to think. What's yours?
Popular Post ha_banos Posted July 17, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 17, 2024 Was taking about this last night. I don't have a rotation. I have, whatever I can be arsed to get to in the perpetually overfilled cabinet. Digging through looking for boxes or trying to find something stuffed into a made up box. First world nightmare. So for me it's simply what I can easily reach is game. Which you get a view of in the daily smoke thread! 6
Cayman17 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Mine looks like a pile of Nudies and a box of old Padron coronas I found in the bottom of a cooler. That’s the current “go-to” humi. 2
Chibearsv Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Mines a stack of 10 42-liter weathertight containers and 2 mini fridges in the basement. The whole menu is open for business every day. Tonight, JL Seleccion Especial from FOH trade is delightful! It was screaming at me to get out today. 😁 2
Chris P. Bacon Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I keep a small Ball mason jar on my desk with a couple H. Upmann Coronas Major tubos and Davidoff Signature No. 2 tubos. Perfect grab and go smokes! 2
Greenhorn2 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I'm with @ha_banos. It depends on how deep I want to dig. 3
Pigpen Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 For me it boils down to what I am doing, how much time |I have and the weather, all of which influence my choice. 2

Being lazy is a great way of aging cigars/completely forgetting what you have. 4
Popular Post BrightonCorgi Posted July 18, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 18, 2024 I am similar to @ha_banos No rotation or queue of cigars I plan to smoke. I keep a Noella jar filled with singles to free up space of near empty boxes. Top draw of Aristocrat has some odd ball's. I save tubos and put something else in them that'll fit. They make great grab and go cigars. Picking a cigar to smoke is what I like least about the hobby/passion. Too hard to decide. Especially since the price hikes. Cost & availability has crept into the equitation and had never a consideration 😞. Several are "the same old same" boxes, some going back decades. I like smoking someone else's cigars. Feels like it's a new experience. I don't bring cigars to cigar lounges. Rather check out something new. 6
ha_banos Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. 1
Chitmo Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 I enjoy the thinking, I spend a good ten minutes a day staring through the glass doors on my humidor deciding what to smoke. 4

El Hoze Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 We have a second home in Colorado where we spend 6 weeks or so in the summer and I’m on the road for work a few days here and there. I was strapped for time and so I packed a 4.7qt Tupperware Brilliance with about 20 Fab5 Queen Coronas and about 15 Petit Coronas. The QC’s fit perfectly. I actually like just having 2 options for a few weeks. Grab one, light it up. I love having the variety at home but I will spend 30 min choosing a cigar. Nice to keep it simple. I am a uniform guy, I wear basically the same outfit every day so for a month or two having fewer decisions to make works for me. PS - the QC and the PC are both banging cigars. The QC I could smoke every night and be perfectly happy. 3
