NRL hits Vegas...

Our Rugby League (NRL) season is kicking off in Vegas this year with a double-header. March 2nd in the US. Curious to know the impact, if any so far, of the marketing campaign reach this has achieved over there... there's obviously a 'bums on seats' local campaign and a broadcast one... do you know about it / will you be going or watching? 🤔

I haven’t seen any promotion for it yet or perhaps I haven’t noticed it.

I have seen a commercial about it and believe it was on Fox Sports 1 here in the States.

Exactly. We are talking about Rugby League Players. It's bound to happen.

Heck, even our Australian politicians would get in trouble visiting Las Vegas at the moment!

Alrighty, the first 2 matches of the season have been played, and it seems they have been a resounding success with Americans. For our US members, did anyone catch the games? If so, what did you think about them?

Awful movie (apart from the game scenes) but as a kid I fantasised about that game being real. Possibly still do. And I reckon it's not too late to get it off the ground. Get UFC on roller skates and we're on our way!
