Puros Y Vino Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Saw this online. Doesn't look legit. Maybe it's a reboxing by distributors? Kind of like the Siglo VI 15 count tubo humidors from many years back? Anyone ever see these?
MrBirdman Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Those look similar to fakes I’ve seen for sale in the Caribbean. Wouldn’t go near 'em. Can’t imagine why distributors would want or need to rebox Siglo VI when they already come in 10’s.

avitus Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 I've seen lots of Cohibas packed in non-regular boxes across Switzerland's cigar stores. Are they also fake?

Are they also fake? I'm familiar with the Sig VI 15 count humidor on the left. Empty ones could be bought in LCDH's. Some vendors or B&M's have put (hopefully legit) cigars into them for sale. There's an RyJ Short or Wide Churchill one too IIRC. The Siglo VI jar is mostly sold empty, but I can see a vendor popping a 25 count box worth of Sig VI's in there too. FWIW. You can buy reproductions of that jar online to this day. I have two of them. The ones in the middles are new to me.

Salomones Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 The RJ Humidor was sold in Germany and Spain too. It's legit.

These look like Cigarte humis: https://www.cigarte.com/estuches/85-estuche-cohiba-siglos-box.html Cigarte are a licensed manufacture of branded accessories for Habanos. Most of the other humis in this thread are theirs also. They are all sold empty. Sometimes distributors will pick up a batch and repackage into them and sell them to their stores as a value add. More often it's the stores doing it themselves. 2 3
