Popular Post El Presidente Posted November 29, 2023 Author Popular Post Posted November 29, 2023 COMING DECEMBER 8
brewsandbullets Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 I've had 2 of these so far, one ROTT and one after another week or so of rest. Rest makes a HUGE difference. These are mildly sweet, fairly creamy, and built beautifully. Early on I'm getting some graham crackers and the faintest touch of spice, past the midway point I'm getting baked pastry, molasses, and baking spice. The character is somewhere between a YG lancero and the N4 PC. 3 1
cnov Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Tried my first this afternoon. Fantastic work, glad they came in a 50 bundle, going to enjoy working my way through them. 1 1
Perla Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Had my first Ninfa today as the sun is lurking out. Really nice cigar. Easily in competition with PL Montecarlos. Great cigar if you love skinny ones. Strong, yes for rebuying 2 1
Deeg Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Tried my first, about 10 days OTT. I actually feel like this captures the Punch DNA pretty nicely - I would describe it as Punch with a twist of Quai D'Orsay chai-floral. Not the peanut bomb Punch like the 48s - more an earthy, nutty (hazelnut?) coffee vibe. Never over medium for me, started a notch below and built slowly. A good hour, perfect construction, very refined and elegant smoke. 2 1
Chibearsv Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Tried my first after just a couple weeks of rest. Flavors are dark and woody with some spice to me. Not bitter or hot at all. Not really peppery or very sweet either. Decent buzz. Reminds me a bit of Partagas Presidentes without being as strong. Perfect burn all the way through. 75+ minute smoke. Really enjoyable cigar. It will be interesting to see where these go with some age. 1 1

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted April 18, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 18, 2024 Time for a check in. This latest batch has been resting 30 days. Sweet flavors and a bit of spice, opened with some cocoa and some nuttiness. I find smoking slow really makes a difference. Will these improve? I doubt they will last long enough for me to ever age them! 4 1
lance lancero Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 I could not be happier with these guys. I enjoyed one today so dang much even if it was 118 degrees out, and will have another tomorrow. The construction is also very nice. An inspiration and motivation for an amateur roller like myself. I bought a 50 pack that I tucked into my humidor and also bought a 5 pack to enjoy immediately. 2
josie67 Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 I bought a 5 pack a few weeks ago and have had 3 so far. They are SPECTACULAR. Medium bodied, creamy, graham cracker with a bit of spice. For such a small ring gauge, they have a perfect draw. Tons of smoke with perfect resistance. You can tell some experienced rollers rolled these. I loved them so much a bought a bundle of 50. Well done, Rob and Hamlet. 3
Popular Post Dlowil Posted July 5 Popular Post Posted July 5 The look and feel of the stick are beautiful—elegant and refined. The first inch delivers cinnamon (almost graham cracker) blended with dark chocolate. The aroma is intoxicating: warm baking spices that make you want to chew the smoke. The smoke output is generous, silky, and surprisingly dense for a cigar of this ring gauge—an immediate mood-setter. The burn starts slightly uneven but nothing distracting. Zero harshness on the retrohale. Then, sourdough enters the mix—suddenly I’m smoking a sourdough cinnamon chocolate babka. The cigar builds steadily and takes me back to my first Cuban: an unassuming Montecristo Joyita. It’s light to medium-bodied, with a subtle pepper spice that makes a quiet but welcome appearance. The second third holds that same character—rich and balanced. Transitions are subtle, not dramatic, but for a $7.50 stick, the complexity is perfectly judged. It doesn’t overreach or flatten—it simply stays in its lane and cruises gracefully. In the final third, the cigar begins to canoe slightly but corrects itself—an impressive recovery. The finish is long, smooth, and harmonious. Cinnamon, sourdough, nuts, and dark chocolate linger for about 30 seconds. The mouthfeel remains light to medium between puffs—remarkable for a cigar of this size. If I could wish for anything, it would be a touch of molasses sweetness to round it out. That hint of dark, syrupy depth would’ve made it perfect. Appearance, burn, draw, and flavor are all excellent. The aroma? Divine. A classy, contemplative 1-hour experience, elevated by voluminous, velvety clouds of smoke. At $7.50, this is an absolute gem—my favorite Puro Desnudo to date. Just one molasses note away from perfection. Still a solid 92. 7 2

Hoosh Posted Wednesday at 02:37 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:37 AM Hoping this is the correct sub for this little review, so… Received a fiver of Ninfas today and knew I would smoke one ROTT. Some other reviews said these sticks were GTG go right away and some said to wait so I decided to give one a go and I’ll let the others take a little break. I must admit that my expectations were slightly high, given all the across-the-board high praise I’d read about them, so with earnest, I decided to smoke the one under the sticker in the below photo: After depositing the rest in a humidor, I was treated to a nose I was not expecting. I smoke almost all NCs so even knowing this was a Honduran puro, I was anticipating something dark, something chocolatey. Instead, I was treated to a very enticing floral and vegetal aroma. Honestly, I probably looked stupid twisting that cigar under my nose, but wow, did it smell good! When I cut the cap, I noticed a brief tension before the cut was completed and then noticed this when I looked at the cigar: I saw the giant stem but, whatever. The cold draw brought a not overly sweet, but almost candy like taste, which I also was not expecting. Okay then. Let’s go! I used a soft flame given the RG and was treated to initial flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg, flavors that are almost nonexistent in most cigars I smoke. Want to know what “baking spice” means? This was it for me. Smoking through the first part of this cigar left a creamy milk flavored coating in my mouth, and when I tell you my retrohale was a Lotte dessert bun, I’m honestly not making that up. It shocked me as well. About halfway through and on for the rest of the smoke, the predominate flavor that I tasted I initially thought was pepper, but it wasn’t. Do any of you remember cinnamon toothpicks? Well, that was it. That was the flavor that carried me to the end - the almost-as-much-as-I-could-smoke end. With a great burn throughout and white ash that held up as expected for a cigar of this RG, I thought, “This was truly a wonderful smoke. What an awesome hour and ten minute smoke’” And then I remembered the stem…so I cut the remainder open and found this: For real size reference: I was surprised, but want to say that it unequivocally had zero affect on the smoking of the cigar OR my enjoyment thereof; I literally forgot about it until I had smoked the cigar down to almost nothing. I just wanted to point this out as, much like everything else with this cigar, I was not expecting it to be there. After reaching the midway point, I was mentally angry at myself for not trusting previous reviews and ordering more. I was going to do so, but then received the email from Fabrica5 talking about how the Lonsdales are on their way to Florida and would be available soon, so since I do have four more, I’m going to hold off from ordering until the Lonsdales are available. Who knows? Perhaps they will throw me in with my order a BR 109 to try out for having to suffer through “Stemgate.” 😆 Thanks for reading. 🙂 3
