Petit Corona Reverse Blind Cigar (SepRBWR)

This was a single and I don't have a date or box code... 1 slight clue was a loose band, easily removed pre-light for the purposes of this review!

This PC had a relatively dark wrapper, perfectly nice, with a little oil/sheen. Cold draw of dark choc and maybe a hint of herbal/mint. Resistance on the draw was bang on.

Opening notes were highly enjoyable: chocolatey with only a little sweetness. This turned out to be my favourite section.

Into the second third and the pleasant choc mostly disappeared. The stick became stubborn in terms of staying lit, requiring touch ups as often as any stick I've had recently.

Despite the loss of its early promise and any particularly definable flavours, it was not a chore to reach the final third. There was something enjoyable that kept me coming back for another draw (and further touch-ups). The flavours towards the end were earthy/woody, with next to no sweetness but it was oddly satisfying.

In summary this was just ok. The opening inch was excellent, including a big smoke output. Second third didn't offer much but it came good again with a satisfying chewy earthy finish. Had the burn been good this would have got a stronger recommendation.
