We all know the usual "this is a 92-point cigar" or whatever... but what does that really mean? And, more over, what does it mean for you, and how is it relevant to every single cigar ever smoked? Is there a better system out there? The challenge for this weekend is to find exactly that. Showcase your existing system, if it's different to the above standard, or for those who use the standard to come up with a totally new scoring system. Get creative with it... Examples might go something like this: 4/5 Depp-Heards - Entertaining for the first two-thirds but ultimately a bitter conflict that left us asking "what did we really learn?" 8.5/10 Fredo Corelones - From a powerful family, slickly dressed, but failing in almost every aspect of life. 5 star Orson Welles - early on a genius blend but went a little flabby and somewhat mad towards the end. 18/20 Sgt Peppers - a classic in every sense, start to finish, ageing like a fine wine. You get the idea. Standard scoring will disqualify the entry. Post your pics in the FOH Competitions Noticeboard & Gallery for extra tickets in the draw. Max 3 reviews per member. Drawn Wed 8th June (Bris time) Follow these guidelines to submit your entry: 1. Start a new topic in the Waterhole 2. Title your review in this format (so we can track entries): Diplomaticos No.2 XXX MAR 21 (CSSRW)* 3. Write your review, include good photos, plenty of tasting detail, score it in your own way!! And of course thanks to our friends and hosts (like @MoeFOH) who still endeavor to keep our community together amidst price hikes, supply chain issues, etc. What cigars allow us to share, most of us having never met one another, is special. 2
