Love the idea I just ordered one. My brother in-law and I were just talking about something like this, this past weekend. Something to hold our cigars as we are tying on flies or casting.

it looks a bit ridiculous - yet soooo useful!

function and purpose appear to be A+

Excellent work. Great that your boys could be involved. I feel like taking up fly fishing just as an excuse to use one

Actually an awesome idea. I can NOT be the only one trying to tie a line, cigar in mouth and the line goes limp? Goodbye leader!

Or am I the only one that clumsy at times? ( crickets….)

😂😂

@Nevrknow haha did the same thing this past weekend. Burnt my leader off when I was trying to tie on a new fly. At that point I left that water and sat down, so I can put my cigar between two rocks. So your not the only one that is clumsy at times.

I love to fish and have become very talented in holding a stogie and casting. My fishing buddies are amazed. However, I have amazed myself a few times seeing my 12.00 crank bait go sailing off with about 20 feet of line with it. This may help. Ordered

Love that thing!  I've struggled with cigars on the river for years, finally a solution!

I no longer have to slobbering all over it while I changing flies! 😂

that's a fat rainbow! That natural, or is it coming in from a Great Lake? Hot damned she's a beaut!

I'd be confident that fish is over 7lbs.

Well done Sir.

Thank you, it was at least twice the size of the biggest trout I ever landed in the 25 years that I have been fly fishing.  I actually hooked this pig earlier in the day on a prince nymph but it broke my line.  I ended up hooking it up again later in the day on a dry fly and managed to land it.  It still had my prince nymph and tippet in its mouth.  I couldn't believe it, but it was no doubt the fish that snapped my line earlier.  I pulled the nymph and tippet and released it to get bigger for someone else.  I will be framing that picture so that I can relive the moment years from now.  It was definitely a stockey, but I can tell you that it didn't take anything away from the excitement of it slamming my dry fly and running my reel down to the backing.  Definitely a memory I will have for the rest of my years.  And after the release I got to celebrate with my cigar and a pull from my flask.  Thank you fish and thank you Cigarmband, LOL.

Beautiful fish and great idea! Coming from someone who tends to spend half the fishing season with waders full of water, there may be a market for an extended cigarmband (XR) with a 4' arm for those of us butter footed individuals that have an affinity for snotty, slick rocks and not enough cleats who cant keep cigars dry to save their lives. Haha

Seriously though, I really like the thought of this. Great design!

Ordered one from David.  What a great guy.  Cigarmband really is a labor of love for him.  So responsive to suggestions.  Worthy of support.
