You will get all sorts of opinions on this subject.  Here is mine.  Pick a cigar you like.  Could be a D4, could be a Coloniales, could be anything.  I have a box of HDM Du Prince for my 8 year old and a box of Siglo IV for my 5 year old.  They could be Vegueros for all it matters...

Every time I grab that box, that one time each year, and I look at the box date, I am reminded of why I am smoking THAT cigar.  I think about another year I have been given with my babies.  I remember the day they were born.  I think about them growing up.  I think about them after I am gone.  It is the moment and the box and THAT cigar, whatever the cigar is...

Pick something you like and find a box code that matches.  Whatever cigar you pick will be one of the best cigars you smoke all year...

 

If you looking for one cigar to smoke on the day your baby is born...make it a small one 'cause you will be lucky to get two puffs...

I think @PigFish is in the people's republic of California so an even more impressive feat finding a smoking room.

I haven't been in a few years but whenever I went it was pretty easy to find a smoking room in Abu Dhabi (UAE). I went about once a year for work, for about 5-6 years.
