Excellent review. Always enjoyed these and the Bachilleres. Thought both needed several years down for them to shine. Probably why many from the Sancho brand were cut in 06.

Yep, Molinos definitely have a hazelnut, or frangipane sweetness in the final third.  In some that I've had that sweetness develops into a pear drop, blue magic marker pen, chemical Ethyle Acetate-like sweetness.    That sounds terrible I know,  but it's really wonderful when it happens.

I was a late comer to the Sancho marque. Too bad all that's left is the Belicoso. Love the unique salt, cream, wood tasting notes. Nothing else like it. Perhaps too unconventional a profile and not conservative enough to stand the test of time
