Especially the first picture which was seared salmon wrapped around a seared scallop with some very tasty sauces. Slightly confused at the structuring of the dish. The rice is below the shell, so we swiped it off onto the top of the rice and ate it 🤣 16

They used a duck press to make a sauce tableside with cognac, herbs and butter. First course was confit of duck leg with some Foie Gras. What a hoot! Some pate en croute and crudo of arctic char to begin. 19 1

Tropical, aromatic. Less masala bomb compared to Indian curries. Maldivian Curry Sauce w/ Chorizo over Rigatoni. + these monsters. In Chinese shrimp are: 虾 and Lobster are: 龙虾 (dragon shrimp). Always loved that translation. These beasts are somewhere in the middle. Pro Tip from Maldives: Mas huni is a fantastic breakfast if you like tuna and can handle some heat in the morning. 19

I did not make my own Giardiniera, they have Marconi at Publix, want to nail down the meat, broth, and rolls first. One of my guests was a buddy from Chicago. He texted me this morning saying he was craving another one and is coming by for a Tupperware of leftovers. This was a full wet dip. I upped my daily run this morning from 4 miles to 6. Will probably repeat again tomorrow! 15 1

The liver was mind blowing. The peanut/little fish dish was probably the best beer food I've had in ages. Crispy shallot chang fen. Every dish was a banger. 22 1
