I will be jumping on FOH Zoom shortly. Off to grab a cigar and a drink now.

Good luck to both teams! Looking forward to this game :cigar:

Bengals need to hang in there early.

Pulling for Stafford because he has paid his dues and pulling for the Bengals because, well, they need all the luck they can get.  I am pulling against the Rams and against Joe Burrow because I don't like either one of them.

I am in lose / lose situation.  Should be fun :)

Terrible cold so no cigars for me.  Going on 72 hours without a cigar.  I can't even remember the last time I went 24 hours without...I am sad.

In NFL, unlike AFL, only the cheerleaders get to wear the tight shorts.

Both sets of football squares I have involve 2 safeties and a 2 point conversion. 😔

Still trying to figure out why the Bengals went for it on 4th and 1 on the 50 yard line in the initial charge.  They basically handed LA that touchdown.

Was thinking the same thing. Really dumb.

I was thinking to myself, "Is this a pre-season game, or the Super Bowl?"

Not a good way to start.  But they seem to be playing well since then.

congrats Rams.

tough D all around. Not the greatest of games but closeness of scores made it a good watch nonetheless. :cigar:

Great to see the Rams win. Tough loss for cool Joe and Cincinnati. The playoffs this year we’re overall the best in years.

All anyone is gonna remember is three straight penalties in the red zone with less than two minutes - one of which was totally bogus.

That was a questionable call for sure but the no call on the offensive pass interference/fask mask on the Bengals big TD to start the second half was absolutely bogus.

Big difference between missing a call  and a bogus call - plus the non call was at the beginning of the second half. The holding was on 3rd down within 2 minutes. Followed by two more one of which was insanely ticky-tack.

When the non call results in a 75 yard TD in a low scoring game it's huge. I agree the call near the end of the game was ticky tack and could have easily not been called in favor of the "let them play" mentality but objectively it was a penalty, albeit a weak one. Bengals offense still had plenty of time to tie or win on their final drive and they couldn't get it done so the better team won tonight, even with some serious injuries. I suspect Burrows will make it back to the big game though, kid is a baller.

May be…but my point stands. No one will remember the face mask. All we’ll remember is the refs ruining the end of the game.

I loved that halftime show! Not ashamed to admit it! This year was garbage.

As a fan of 90s/00s Hip-hop, respectfully disagree. This was the best Halftime show I've ever seen. Even if it's 20 years after the height of Dre, Em and Snoop's careers, still beyond legendary to see them on the biggest of stages like that. If only censorship wasn't necessary, some of those hits sounded a bit chopped up with all the lyrical changes LOL.

A bit disappointed in the game result as I wanted Smokin' Joe and the Bengals to finally win one for Cincy, but you have to make that 2nd/3rd/4th and 1...Rams deserved to win it, especially given that facemask non-call as others have mentioned. More surprising was seeing Matt "Two-pick" Stafford play true to form with a couple of picks, yet still do enough to come away with the win. Congrats to him, having to play for the dismal Lions as long as he had to, he deserves a bit of glory.

No PI / holding call on Jalen Ramsey that would have been a Bengals TD. Plenty of examples throughout the game, that's why it's called 'letting them play'.

Since the refs were so eager to throw flags in the last 2 minutes:

Super Bowl LVI, brought to you by Masi.
