Chibearsv Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Anyone heard of Galentine's Day? My wife was pointing out some Valentine's Day gift ideas on TV of lotions and candles and soaps, etc. and I said "what guy is buying that stuff for his wife?". She told me she knew I wouldn't, but she was getting ideas for her girlfriends. I must have looked confused and she asked me if it was Ok that we don't have plans on Valentine's Day since she and the neighborhood wives are going out that night. She said they were having a Galentine's Day get together. I've never heard of it, but if it takes me off the hook for Valentine's Day, I'm all for it. I'm not suggesting you should point this out to your wives and/or significant others, I'm just saying that apparently it is a thing. 😁 1

And I think it was turned into a b-movie for women (chick flick or romcom). I think I came across it on Netflix. If I remember it was the day before Valentine's Day. https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/galentines-day-meaning 2
