Give a shout next time you're up this way, Mike. Hook up at Island Girl for a smoke and a toddy! Buy one of theirs, smoke one of ours!!! 👍

Will do brother. This is just a quick up and down.

Yeah, going on 55 years old and still hanging steel and machinery in the ceilings of industrial facilities. Going to try and give it up within the next two years, if I can get a grip on my 24:24 urges.😁

Hanging steel at 55? You win brother. We’re all at a bar and a fight breaks out I’m hanging with you! 😂😂

I turn 55 March 4th. Trying to spend my time teaching young bucks but can’t find any willing to listen/want to .

World is changing but they don’t see it. You can smash a ton of college degrees in earning power from the first year on. There are exceptions of course for some fields.

The tide is changing. Not going to be a whole lot of valuable office jobs in the future I think. Overloaded on paperwork. It will go back to “ actual production “ IMO.

You can file?  No thanks.

This is the one weekend we are home this winter (thank god).

Make a brief appearance at the ice fishing contest as our company is a sponsor.

Un pack from a month in Playa Del Carmen- Pack for Costa Rica.

Chill out on Sunday and watch the first NASCAR event of the year.

I can't figure out the mindset that we can all build a better country with everyone working on a computer in an office.  Someone actually has to lay hands on it sooner or later.

I left a job as the working manager of a machine shop in 2016 and took a job in Inside Sales for a Power Transmission supply company. My now 57 yo body appreciates the fact I'm not on my feet all day, my hands never get dirty and I make a lot more money with better benefits. Plus it's 8 to 5 m-f with no late nights or weekends. I certainly don't feel like I am as productive as before, but if you can't beat'em, join'em.

My back and knees are begging me to "join them", but there just isn't much of an opportunity for a 54 year old in the big city of Mayodan.  Lol. Especially when you don't know how to turn on a desktop computer and use it.
