Hail to the WFT!    WFT defeats the GOAT and Tampa 29 - 19!  Downside is we lost Chase Young to apparent ACL knee injury.  :tantrum:

Great Win

As a Bucs fan, I would like to see us heading into the finals coming in healthy and into form. Another loss or two in the coming weeks isn't too concerning.

Even Brady can be beat. My Giants did it to him in two Super bowls.

I married a Redskins fan and she does have battered fan syndrome. When we met she loved football and knew more than most men watching re: teams, rules, strategy etc. I was like, this is perfect. L

However now, she just grumbles and won’t watch them as they’ve been relatively terrible most of her life. My Oilers left Houston, so I’ve fallen in line with the rest of the battered Redskins fans. Nice to see a W against the GOAT however it happens.

:rotfl:  I grew up watching Sam Huff (RIP) and Sonny, Bobby Mitchell, etc. and used to go to games with my father at old RFK when he could get tickets.  That was even before George Allen when they really really sucked.  So the Snyder era is pretty craptuacular to me now as well.  Heh.

When Heinike plays without making mistakes they have a decent chance.  When he doesn't, well. . .  :cowpoop:  They have some good players.  Hoping they can hang onto them and draft more.  Also be a little more proactive in the free agent market.

Don't you think it's past time to give the team a proper name? WFT is a bit ridiculous unless Snyder has no intentions of adopting a "real" new name. Kind of like naming your first born son "John Doe", LOL

Should make for an especially entertaining video review of the Blind Tasting Cigar 3 this week!

sadly, i am off cigars for a while but fear not, this will not be forgotten.

great win. can we play tampa every week because we play like crap against every other team.

i know every team has injuries, but when you think heinecke had one good WR and a couple of bottom dwellers and we are down to our 3rd and 4th TEs, both lowly drafted rookies (one an undrafted chilean basketballer), he did a mighty job.

i've got all sorts of messages from friends saying isn't it great that brady has finally been exposed and his career is over. well good luck putting money on that and personally, i quite like him and i want him in the playoffs because i do not want dallas winning. ditto rodgers in the playoffs. anyone who can beat dallas in the NFC.

shame about young but who would have thought we lose sweat and young and still get up. looks like young gone for the year.

one thing, great to see jonathan allen finally having the season we knew he could. he been our best defender by a street. if i recall, tampa had the pick ahead of us a few years ago and took vita vea. we got allen next. the word was we'd have been happy with either. i think they are two of the stars of that draft.

also, i have discussed this with rob before but what a superstar the tampa linebacker is. i am a huge fan. i think that was what we were hoping we'd get when we drafted davis this last draft, round 1. he has a very long way to go.

i have submitted 'the divinity of the dancing wombats' as our next name. apparently, it is unlikely.

what about the "washington winners"?

Sure.  They claim a new name will be announced after this season.  I do fear that whatever they end up with will not be received well.

I hope you're on the mend and back at it sooner than later.

Yeah, it was sad to see Young go down.  I like him a lot.  I also think you're safe with DAL not getting to Sofi in February.  It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, though.  Big win for WTF (that's what I see every time I read the initials).
