I wrote this a few days ago, finally getting around to posting!

Funny enough my palette still wasn’t great during this review on Wednesday, but over the weekend it really seemed to come back, thank god! 

Mongrel opening. Getting a little twang, and honey. Body is medium full. Pairing this with a dram of Longrow Peated scotch from Springbank. A little cream enters with the honey. Good mouthfeel. At the 3/3 point I joined the FOH ZOOM and stopped taking notes. However, this has been my 10th PSdP and I havnt been blown away by a single one yet, so I’m probably going to trade them away. Prez said some sage advice on ZOOM that 30% of smokers won’t get a certain marca/cigar, no matter what. I’m definitely in the 30% with PSdP, as  well as dark wrapper montes.

Dark wrapper montes I really like, but am with you on psdp. Much prefer a punch punch or DC.

Just goes to show you...for past 20 years I have preferred dark wrappers on Monte!  I went deep on Punch short de Punch. Like em now but for my tastes I think several yrs of age will suit me better.

Good round number.  If at 10 years and it's still nothing; at least it's worth a bit and can sell then.  Don't most smoke their cigars with around a decade or more age?

If I don’t get a good trade offer I’ll definitely stuff them at the bottom of my cooler for a few years. I’m probably gonna do the same with my ‘19 punch punch as they’re not doing it for me either, however I’ve had a few aged Punch Punch’s and I LOVED them.

Karl. I had a 50 cab of Punch Punch from Foh. Initially pretty poor. Buried em in cabinet and and a few yrs later...bam!!
