This is for all the dumbasses who think they're being sold something legit, only to come back home and have all their friends tell them their breitling isnt real.

I wore a fake Rolex for years and had countless people tell me it was one of the only real Rolexes they had seen. Used to crack me up inside. When I finally got a legit used one, it ran like crap and I had to send it to Switzerland with $500 to get it repaired. Got it back, it ran great and I wore it every day. I sold it to a friend eventually because I broke out in hives under the band. Weird, but maybe I’m just not a “real” Rolex guy 😂. Haven’t worn a watch since but I’m going to try with a cool looking one that I saw on the forum. We’ll see.

Laugh, but I still have a few folex watches from my life in Manhattan. One of them rivals the nicest Rolex of the time and only cost me $20.

The only half decent watch I owned was a bedat & co #7. After I ditched that I swore never to be leashed again. And so I haven't bothered since. It's very liberating.

In my cousin's town in Biel, people who work at Rolex have been known to squirrel away piece by piece parts of a Rolex to eventually build their own with "liberated" parts.  Over the years there have been heists of watch cases.  I believe watch bands are done on a separate assembly line that just cranks out band pieces.

They keep a really tight lid on things as much as possible.  Occasionally, Rolex prototypes have come to market in locally.

Rolex is also a customer of my company for cyber security.  I believe they are our first in the watch sector.  I am surprised Swatch group is not yet; you'd think they would have even more IP than Rolex.
