Let's start by saying.....not exclusively Cuba :D

Cuba is low hanging fruit when it comes to arranging a week away. Let's expand the horizons.

Ken was thinking of a rum and cigar tour

10 Days.

I was thinking of kicking it off in Tampa .....home of the worlds greatest gridiron team....and historical centre of cigars in the USA.

Now Ken and I both have our ideas but I would love members in the region to flesh out some suggestions where we finish up in Cuba.

Countries/Cities/Hotels/Bars/Restaurants......nothing off limits in this discussion.

Over to you :cigar:

When it comes to Rum, there are some beauties in Panama (Don Pancho) and some specialty rums only available in Jamaica (The Edwin Charley), both spectacular.  Would welcome a trip to sample both of those with some wonderful cigars.

Have caught Copa Panama - Havana many a time.  Always a good flight.

Panama city is a ton of fun as well.

Maybe not a cigar mecca, but Porto Rico is a blast, and the rums pretty good.

Booze and cigar cruise stopping at jamaica, cuba, and wherever else sounds fun in the Caribbean?  Whenever cruises are back, then you can probably just see where else they stop, and choose the cruise that stops that the places you'd be interested in?

If also a rum tour, Guyana, Barbados or both a must.

Cigars, aside from Cuba I'd suggest visiting Colin in Nicaragua as a change of pace and some Twin Engine coffee along with. Carlito if you want to hit the DR.

Has to conclude in Cuba for the best of all.

Renting a cruise ship?

Trinidad rum is underrated IMO, very fond memories of Angostura rum and a Shark n' bake on Maracas Bay - a perfect beach for a cigar! Angostura 1919 is my favorite but who could forget Puncheon Rum - 'not less than 75% alcohol' 😂😂😂. My kind of guarantee!

But Barbados is the rum king of islands. Foursquare is a must!
