El Presidente Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 88 shorts 5000 humidors. From our mates at Cigar Journal https://www.cigarjournal.com/cohiba-short-humidor-year-of-the-ox/ Cohiba is celebrating the Chinese New Year 2021 with a special edition dedicated to the Chinese ox horoscope. The glossy black humidor was finished with high lacquer, which is accented with a golden ox. A real collector’s item, which is limited to 5000 pieces and individually numbered. It contains 88 Cohiba shorts, the 8 being a lucky number in Chinese New Year tradition. The Cohiba Short measures 83 mm and has a ring gauge of 25. Retail sales price per Humidor is CHF 218.80. The Cohiba Short Humidor Year of the Ox is available from 25th of February 2021 at La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialists shops. 1 2
Popular Post NSXCIGAR Posted February 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2021 For that price you'd think they could at least take the cello off... 3 3

Shrimpchips Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Honestly looks nicer than the cigarette packs of shorts scattered throughout a humidor. Do I need this? no. Do I kind of want this up on 24:24 soon? (Gets credit card ready) yes...?
Bijan Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 I saw box #0001 posted on a Canadian Facebook group today. 6 hours ago, El Presidente said: The Cohiba Short measures 83 mm and has a ring gauge of 25. I believe it's 82mm and 26rg. 1
nKostyan Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 I doubt this will be a Habanos release. We must wait for official statements. Now in the portfolio of HSA brands there is no one a machine-made vitolaP.S.
JohnS Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 15 hours ago, Bijan said: I believe it's 82mm and 26rg. Yes, it probably is so you wonder why it's marketed with these other dimensions. I get that 3¼ inches equates to 82.55 millimetres so the length can go either way, but 25 ring gauge? Perhaps it's because Habanos S.A allows its cigars to be plus or minus one ring size. Incidentally, Puritos were always bigger prior to the release of the Cohiba Shorts, then Trinidad and Montecristo Shorts. (I.e. 29 ring gauge x 4⅛ inches or 106 mm in length.) 1
Fosgate Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 So this must be why the sudden price decrease from some vendors that may be deep in the 50ct LE Humidor.
