Popular Post Silverstix Posted February 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 22, 2021 Smaller cigars are definitely my preference, especially during these colder months, and ESPECIALLY since I can get about an hour out of one. Minutos and PC’s mainly, with the occasional short Robusto if I want to change things up. For this review, I decided to smoke my last 2016 Cohiba Siglo II from a 1/4 box. Love the proportions of a PC! Wrapper is a gorgeous light Colorado color with hardly any veins and an even fill. The triple cap cuts cleanly and reveals a spot on draw. Not much on the cold draw other than natural tobacco flavor. Opens up with a lovely mild sweet tobacco. Nothing too dynamic early on, very smooth and very mild, just a sweet quality tobacco. A nice easy smoke. 2/3 sees the sweetness get a little bit richer, flavors pick up a little to medium-ish with coffee beans and a very slight citrus left on the finish. A very nice complimentary profile that is light on strength. 3/3 really just sees a continuation of the same. No harshness, no bitterness or off-putting flavors. A quality cigar from beginning to end. Overall - 4/5 Not the most dynamic or complex of smokes, however it is very good tobacco with a great blend and the construction is right on point. No touch ups, no draw tools, just a very pleasant experience all around. I smoked this in the sunshine after a late breakfast and it hit the spot. Definitely on the mild side of medium in terms of strength and body. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 17 1

KCCubano Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Great review. Unfortunately all my boxes over the years have had construction issues. Frustrating! No problems with any other Cohiba. Maybe just bad luck! 1

No problems with any other Cohiba. Maybe just bad luck! Thank you! Sorry to hear about the construction issues. For me that cigar is the CoRo. I had to smoke 5 or 6 cigars with fireproof wrappers before I finally got one that would friggin burn! Couple of UAO cigars too. Siglo 2, 3, & 4 have all been pretty consistently well put together for me....haven’t smoked enough of the rest to give an opinion (though my one Espy and Piramide were insanely good in every way!)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Popular Post Silverstix Posted February 23, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted February 23, 2021 Oh and just for good measure, as requested by @Kaptain Karl an obligatory picture of Bauer. Will try to include him in all my reviews this summer, he’s going to be my cigar buddy on the patio Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 8

Ive been tempted to try again though with a lot of the guys here singing their praises.

Yep, big hockey fans in our house - was trying to think of something hockey related, figured yelling Bauer out the back door was better than yelling Offsides ? 1

smbauerllc Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 Great review. Unfortunately all my boxes over the years have had construction issues. Frustrating! No problems with any other Cohiba. Maybe just bad luck! Have had this issue too.Never had any problems with the tubos though, which I prefer anyway. Not sure of the reason, but the Tubos have just not had any issues with me.Might want to give them a try next time. Worth the extra dollar or two in my opinion. I always buy everything in tubos that are offered in them and have consistently better luck with them overall, plus its nice not to have to worry about damage when transporting or digging through your humidor Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Was neat to have my name on my skates, lolSent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1
