Popular Post StogieSteve23
The second stick I enjoyed yesterday at the beach. One of my favorite smokes hands down and this one was no different, especially with a few years on it. C/D: Pound cake, cedar, honey. Perfect restriction & draw 1/3: vanilla, cashews, Persian limes, butter cookies, chewy baked goods, sweet buttery madeleines 2/3: fresh baked baguette, Nilla wafers, lemon zest 3/3: Nilla Wafers, vanilla extract, carrot cake muffins, cinnamon retro, white chocolate on the finish with a few puffs left Overall Score: 22/25

Persian limes are more just regular limes you'd get from any store and carrot cake muffins are just what they sound like! Delicious muffins made out of carrot cake haha. So tasty. I mostly get the basic flavors like cake, orange, etc., that’s awesome that’s how your palette works!

If you have not tried a Connie A, I would highly recommend it. They're always excellent and only get better with age.

Just my opinion of course as I know lots of people who would say the opposite.

I just picked up a 2019 box, and am already excited by the bergamot/citrus aroma off of the foot of the bundle of cigars...
Bijan
20 hours ago, StogieSteve23 said: Persian limes are more just regular limes you'd get from any store I actually thought you meant these: They're dried limes. Persian limes dried in the sun. They're sour and citrusy as you'd expect but have an earthy smoky flavour to them too. These are light coloured ones, there are also darker coloured ones too.

Mag 56 is also in my wishlist CC. Hope that Connie B will still float on 24:24 ?
Bijan
Also reminds me of this comic about the Detroit rule (apologies to any BOTL from the motor city): https://www.smbc-comics.com/comic/2012-10-25

They're enjoyable right away but if you have patience you'll be rewarded. 3-5 years and they turn excellent in my opinion. 21 hours ago, Bijan said: I actually thought you meant these: They're dried limes. Those sound excellent. A nice sour citrus is what I think of as well.
