This old  Maria Guerrero price list was up for auction.

What grabbed my attention is that they appear to have been sold at the annex/store of the Romeo y Julieta Factory.

It makes me wonder if that is where they were made or if it was common practice at the time for factory stores to sell a variety of cigars from other manufacturers?

The Maria Guerrero brand was created as a tribute, by JR Fernandez ( owner of Ry J ) - always considered a " sister marque " but mostly sold in country, as opposed to major export markets. Either the late 70s or early 80s a terrific size was introduced, the Grandes de Espana which was the last produced under Cubatabaco. They were elegant cigars, medium-bodied. I wish I still had some !

All I know is "Inmejorables" is a model name that needs to be brought back.

Are you suggesting there is something retarded or creatively derelict about "herfing" "ammunition" or "walk in humidor"??

I would argue those names are extremely creative.

Children can also be extremely creative:
