El Presidente Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 This old Maria Guerrero price list was up for auction. What grabbed my attention is that they appear to have been sold at the annex/store of the Romeo y Julieta Factory. It makes me wonder if that is where they were made or if it was common practice at the time for factory stores to sell a variety of cigars from other manufacturers? 2
Jorge Luchadore Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 The Maria Guerrero brand was created as a tribute, by JR Fernandez ( owner of Ry J ) - always considered a " sister marque " but mostly sold in country, as opposed to major export markets. Either the late 70s or early 80s a terrific size was introduced, the Grandes de Espana which was the last produced under Cubatabaco. They were elegant cigars, medium-bodied. I wish I still had some ! 3

I would argue those names are extremely creative. Children can also be extremely creative: 3
