Popular Post Chef86
I just felt the need to say this is quickly becoming my favorite brand of Cuban cigar. I haven’t had a bad one yet. Great smoke, great flavor and seems to have much less quality Control issues than some of the other brands Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 6
Eric05
They have always been a great cigar, but over the past 3 years they have come out with some spectacular stuff. Topes, La Trova, Esmeralda, Reyes I can keep going

Boxer31
Agreed - absolutely love them. Have to get ahold and try the fundies and sure that will blow another hole in the pocket.

SmokyFontaine
Totally agree. I basically bought a box of Viggia by accident, then did a 6er of Coloniales. I'm buying a box of another vitola next good deal I see.

spicycorona
Glad to hear that OP. I have been off the Trinis since they discontinued the Robusto Extra and Robusto T. Have a few Reyes left but they aren't that great. The former two were amazing for the most part ime

Habana Mike
I've been a huge Trini fan since 2000. Esmeralda may end up being a good replacement for the Robusto T/Extras which I'm getting low on. 1

We must have different trusted vendors, because I am seeing plenty of Topes, and only one with Esmeraldas. The one with the Esmeraldas doesn't have any Topes.
Eric05
I think I may have about 5 boxes of the Esmeralda. And 2 of the Topes. I feel the Topes are out there right now. Pres has been running them mostly every Thursday.

Wookie
I have more Topes than Esmeraldas. Conceptually I like the Esmeralda's dimensions better, but the flavors are the same to me as are the smoke times. Volume-wise, they are within about 3% of each other I think. Sorrowful
My current favorite as well. In the past year I've gone through 2 boxes of Fundi vs only half a box of lanceros. I honestly didn't care for any of their LE releases though. I wonder if some brave distributor will have a RE of Trinidad double lanceros. Now that is something I would pay good money for.

It's supposed to be only global brands that get ELs but Punch, Trini, RA, QdO and Cuaba have had them. Cuaba is the only non-global that's had an EL but no ER. Edward7
I had a Casilda and it was a top 10 cigar for me. La Trova is amazing with just a bit of age on them. Vigia is the most consistent flavor to me. Aside from a few tight draws, the fundadores is an all time classic. The only Trinidad I had a bunch of mediocre ones of it’s the overly rustic and simple Reyes. Kind of an undeserving vitola name for this one. Nothing king like about it.
