Popular Post nKostyan Posted February 25, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2020 PSP quality box purchased last year.I took a box of JL#1 a year earlier, these cigars were good, but they were too light, with a sweet floral taste, light rough coating, medium density rolled. I decided to buy the second box because I liked the wrapper. The wrapper is a Colorado Maduro, spotted, oily semi-gloss. The character is strikingly different from the other box: decent strength, medium body. Taste profile: black strong tart tea, spices, enveloping cream. The ash is strong and breaks with effort. From the middle, the body has risen above average and the cigar has become simply excellent. Further enjoyment without noticeable evolution. I did not manage to break the cigar into thirds this time, there was no bright change of tastes. But the assertive nature of the Cigar deserves 5/5 stars 13
Islandboy Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Well done @nKostyan, I always look forward to reading your reviews. Don’t know if it’s a cultural thing, or you’re just more intuitive than most, but I find your observations to be straightforward and quite informative. Cheers! 2 1
Akela3rd Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Sold! I'll take a box. Lovely review that's going to cost me $200+...Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Nice review@nKostyan! I only had Seleccion No. 2 for JL so far. Is it better than JL2 in your opinion?나의 SM-N950N 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄 1
nKostyan Posted February 25, 2020 Author Posted February 25, 2020 Nice reviewnKostyan! I only had Seleccion No. 2 for JL so far. Is it better than JL2 in your opinion?Specifically, this cigar has a more intense taste compared to JL#2. Is it better or not? I find it difficult to compare, it all depends on your personal preferences. Personally, I like variety, not absolute excellence. 1

I haven't tried JL1 so I wonder the comparison between JL2 and JL1.

I find them hard to compare. The JL1 in my experience is a bit of a moving target, but all of them have been good. The JL 2 moves between really good and "meh." Different tastes and experiences IMO. I much prefer the recent JL1 over the 2 I've had. Sounds like nKostyan and I have had nearly identical experiences with the JL 1 based on our reviews. 2

Surprised to see the recent rave for JL1 on FOH!나의 SM-N950N 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄 1
dowjr1 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I love the 2 but the Corona Gorda format of the 1 is my favorite. I also think you’re more likely to get a little mongrel in the 2 vs 1. 1
