El Presidente Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Hard to pick the best of today's finds. However if you were going to take one box home this week from the below.....which one would it be? 1
westg Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Wow....I picked the Epi 2...and smoke them now ? If I had to choose a box to lie down ...Punch Punch...hard choice all the way...Nice work ...
NSXCIGAR Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Glad to see Connie 1 coming in second...I think the word is getting out on these. Pound for pound maybe the best CC over the last 18 mos. JL S1/2 is right there but the Connie 1/Connie A/B is just so pleasant. It's been a staple of my regular rotation for a couple years now and I can't stop buying them. I haven't even had the desire for Connie As since the Connie 1s have been so solid. 2
Stump89 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 The connie 1s are absolutely stunning and always priced right to boot. Fabulous smoke and outstanding value.
Boxer1 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 My money is on the Connie 1. Someone else’s would be the Coro.
BoliDan Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Between Connie 1 and CoRos for me. The value of Connie 1 and how "on it" they are recently, they are easily my choice. But without a money consideration, I'd go with those sheen CoRos.
LordAnubis Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Hey @El Presidente are you finding overall quality improving in the last few months? Or are you just finding a few better diamonds in the rough? Starting to see more PSP and these best boxes again so just curious if the quality is picking up or if you’re picking the cream and putting more effort into showcasing it?

The last month has been solid. Certainly the first half of 2019 is ahead in terms of quality over the first half of 2018. What is also obvious is that tabacuba are struggling in terms of production. They have so many holes throughout their portfolio that they either cannot fill or simply pretend to fill. Some distributors are not getting their regionals, LE's (Upmann) nowhere to be seen. The whole thing is one big mess. 1
ohbob976 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Dumb question alert . What are the odds of getting a box that looks like these when ordering the psp listing of the corresponding box on 2424?
LordAnubis Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 So good quality but no quantity? Interesting. Thanks ?? 1

If on 24:24 PSP, it is what you get there or thereabouts. PSP boxes represent 5-10% of production within that line (say Upmann Connie 1). Buying blind, your odds are about that.
dragn270 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 I love these posts but they really make organizing my ‘what to buy next’ list a real pain. 1
havanaclub Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 CoRo or Connie 1Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TBird55 Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Very hard choice. Have 3 Connie 1's in the air, but they look stunning. Punch Punch look spectacular. If I could onky get 1 box thus week, I would pick the Punch Punch. Next week Connie 1....
5thStarChicago Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I chose the CoRo... only in the hopes that they are as good as the one from the last blind taste challenge.
