Popular Post Islandboy Posted May 4, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 4, 2019 I’ve only managed to secure 3 singles of these thus far, this being the second I’ve taken fire to. Scoring a box or 5 remains elusive but is a major short-term goal in life. Everything about this cigar appeals to me: I love the size and the smoking time that comes with it, the cold aroma is difficult to properly describe but is entirely intoxicating (some sort of fine leather), construction is impeccable, taste is incredibly balanced and smooth for such a young stick, and the labels come off with the ease of silk panties...a fine experience that screams elegance and desire. Once burning, taste and aroma are uniquely pleasing. I’ve got hay, cocoa, coffee, almond nuttiness, a bit of wood, some fine leather, and a nice peppery bite to the retro hale in the first third. The balance of these flavors is pure perfection. There’s something familiar about the overall flavor that I struggle to define. Then it hits me...the aroma of fresh hot-buttered popcorn. It’s in there, I swear. The second third sees the same wonderful balance of flavors, but a marked smoothness develops. The peppery retro hale completely disappears. This continues through the final third, with an introduction of mint as I near the end...a sign of youth, but not unpleasant. This is a damn fine cigar, one of the finest this humble soul has experienced. I give it a 96, and it’s not even a year old. Cheers! 23 2

Corylax18 Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 I can't find these anywhere either. I was able to find one box about a year ago, both cigars I've smoked from it have been great. Great review! 1

Thanks for throwing in the pic of the Maui sunset, just to remind me that there is a place in the world where this is no snow. 2 1
slowsmoke Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Reviews like this are making it harder and harder for me to rest my box at least 90 days. Has anybody had a bad one yet?!? 1
Gamehawker Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Great review, now the goal is to acquire some of these treasures!!! Are they that really that good and worth about $40 per cigar? Thanks

Dynamo320 Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I picked up 4 of them a few months ago at the LCDH in Aruba at $28/stick, only a few bucks more than the pricing of a standard Robusto there. Haven’t had one yet but I’m kicking myself that I didn’t splurge for the box. They had at least 10 boxes sitting there. They would of been virtually free for me as I had a real nice night at the blackjack tables the night before. Oh well, they are a beautiful sight for sure.
DaBoot Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Wait.... women wear panties????, nice review, might have to track some of those down. Always enjoy a good Trinidad
