Popular Post nKostyan Posted April 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2019 I bought two singles at a cigar store. These were leftovers from different open boxes, so there was a good discount. I took one slightly oily, the other was in a velvet wrap with no hint of oil. And I really liked the velvet wrapper, it was as soft and velvety to taste 5/5 stars. Second - I want to smoke today. The wrapper is slightly oily. The aroma of the wrapper is sweet leather. Such smells case have ladies gloves from tender suede skin (at Polish lajka/lojka). 1/3: immediately good powerful smoke, but the taste of bitter wrapper on the lips is distracting. I wipe the saliva off the wrapper and the bitterness almost disappears. This often happens, may be the glue... Back to the cigar: the taste is soft, dominated by leather and oak, very similar to aged whiskey. I leave the room for 3 minutes and with a fresh nose I feel a great aroma, something close to the smell of fresh rye bread. There is a lot of smoke, it is of medium density and beautifully shimmers in the air. Contemplation of smoke is one of the reasons I like to smoke indoors. The taste can not boast of different gastronomic components, but the roundness and complexity of the taste is one of the features of limitadas. Appears in the taste of almond bitterness. Towards the end of 1/3 appear cream. The ash is not even, but I only corrected it once, after I broke it, it became clear that the smolder cone is shifted to the wrapper. This is a roller error often occurs when the filling is shifted from the center. In this case, it is not critical for the burning of the Cigar. 2/3 ash Removal, as is often the case, gave impetus to the evolution of taste: it is a wood-creamy almond refreshing mix, like a drink. But in General, no component is dominant, the taste is very smooth without sharp corners. Towards the end of 2/3 the taste becomes velvety and soft again. Bitter almond aftertaste. 3/3: the taste has not changed, but the smoke has become very rich, I switch to delicate slow puffs. A wonderful mix of flavors. This cigar can be smoked to the end and it will not bring unpleasant moments. Conclusion: the cigar was enjoyable, I give it an 5/5. A very interesting experience with different wrapper confirmed my opinion that not only the oily wrapper gives a great taste. 9 3
JeffreyLebowski Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Review was much enjoyed. Curious about this line: “Such smells case have genital gloves from tender suede skin (at Polish lajka/lojka)” My guess at translation was: the scent of the leather of a sheepskin condom? How did I do? 1

BuzzArd Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Nice review. In fact, I always like your reviews. Very insightful. I have several boxes of these. I love the size and smoking time. I have found, however, that of the 6 or 7 i’ve had from the first open box that all but one was underfilled. Frustrating in a regular production cigar, but doubly so in a EL where you would think extra attention was given to “get it perfect”. How did you find either of yours with regard to construction overall (aside from what was mentioned already and especially the fill? 1

Many Cohiba Talisman, sold in Russia were with tunnels and not enough filler. My Cuban friends tell me that Limitadas are often rolled at the secondary factories. Also, allegedly, a good tobacco steal, instead lay spoofing or put not enough of filler. As for the Regios de Punch, I have no claims to the construction, despite the fact that it was the remains of what was not taken by other buyers. 1
Chucko8 Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Thanks for the review. I’ve smoked 2 of these from a box I have opened. The first I had to throw away as it was plugged so badly it was not smokable. Fortunately the 2nd was of better construction and a good experience. 1
King of Norway Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Nice and informative review, I have a few singles of these in storage, waiting for that magic two year mark 1
