Londonguy Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Just pulled the band of my specially selected and found a non-descript mark. Probably nothing. But in a decade of burning habanos I have never seen anything. Curious if anyone has seen some entertaining inscriptions?
Bram Smoker Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Another member had a similar experience on a BFF. Should be just below your post: Bolivar BF - Signed Cigar Band
Phillys Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I have seen pen scribbling on the inside of a band before, maybe someone checking to see if the pen works. Or maybe it's a mysterious code...
Astar20 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Now I'm going to check every single band, even tho I keep almost off of them.
Popular Post Jal154 Posted April 4, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 4, 2019 Find this symbol on the backside of your RASS band and you’ve won a years supply of RASS. Limited to 12 25 count boxes. Not valid for residents of Cuba. Call 1-888-WIN-RASS 2 3
NSXCIGAR Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 My guess is that the bands are probably inspected by the full sheet and signed off on the back by the inspector. Possibly done in Holland as I would imagine the bands are also cut before they reach Cuba.
MD Puffer Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Looks like gel ink. Bic G2. Blue. Medium point- 0.7mm. Good pen. 3 1
Hotboxx Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Stop. I'll tell you what that is. That's the route your cab driver is gonna take you from old Havana to the airport if he thinks you don't know any better.
Philc2001 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Ah Cuba.... I've seen this a few times. I've also seen hand writing on the wood inside of SLBs and DBs. They're collectible, you should frame that.
OZCUBAN Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Maybe it’s the Cuban equivalent version of this ....? 2
Fuzz AI Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 It's a drawing of the tapeworm you get when eating Cuban street food if you don't have a cast iron stomach.
IanMcLean68 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 It might be that dreaded cry for help we have heard joked about before, scribbled in code inside a cigar band
