Popular Post 99call Posted March 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 1, 2019 Something about these just feels wrong.......but it's just our mental barriers at play. I wonder how many tourists have picked these up in antique shops, and gone "Hey Mike.........check out this BS cigar box..........some poor sucker is going to buy this!" 6 2
Smallclub Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I'll have the 20 Cts Partagas Cazzie and a shot of Moonshine please… 2 2
CigarScentedBeard Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I've been telling people my glass tops were real ? 1
CaptainQuintero Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I get it and know it's some awesome antique stuff. But seeing a glass top box, with Partagas Cazadorez on the side, with Montecristo cigars inside, it's making my head feel funny 1
Outdoorguy84 Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 You mean my box of Cohibas with the red dot and a glass top from Mexico’s finest beaches aren’t real????!!! 2

CigarScentedBeard Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Does the box work well for an actual humidor if the door was lined?

If kept in a cool, humid place out of direct sunlight then......yeah I guess. But I'm all seriousness no, I think these came from an era when salesmen had to put on a show, and actively display their wares. I think another factor would be that aging wasn't a real consideration back then, it would of been a simple case of buy to smoke....repeat

Imagine keeping meat prior to freezers
