I didnt know this cigar existed until about 5 minutes ago. A 6.5” x 55rg “toro” is the only size available in Hamlet Paredes’ 3rd blend. The kicker and the reason I bought one to sample is the “109” style tapered head. The “unfinished” foot is also cool. If I wasnt already on my second cigar of the evening I would light it up and give a quick review, but that will have to wait for another day. At $11.80 usd per stick (outside Charlotte, NC so very low tobacco tax) its a lot of tobacco for the money. Has anybody tried one yet?D8F86EB6-8ED3-4BE6-B883-13910C59E5BE.thumb.jpeg.722f56db061956fabc41856d02ed8df6.jpegC416DDE7-C233-422D-BF0B-E3B6EFDBFE8D.thumb.jpeg.54e71e1b8028b2a39cac0f68351d1f8e.jpeg1060CDA7-AB23-4CB7-A386-D13E87C09621.thumb.jpeg.96962f730a8071151471a496f001cf7b.jpeg

Have heard good things about it. Give us your review when you can!

First I heard about it beyond a FB pic. Look forward to trying one.

Hope Jaime swings by again soon, always a pleasure when he's in town.

From reading the topic, I thought this thread was going to be a story about Jaime leaving Cuba.

In a sense, it is.

Jaime "Hamlet" Paredes was considered to be at the top echelon of torcedors in Cuba prior to relocating to the States to blend cigars for Rocky Patel under his name.

He has quite a history and very tight relationships with FOH.

Currently he is travelling all over the US  promoting his 3 different cigar lines and rolling cigars in demonstrations. He posted a pic of himself at In N Out Burger yesterday so he was somewhere out west

Burners Cigar Co. About 20-30 minutes north of downtown. Nice spot, big selection. $10 cutting fee, but they wave it if you buy a cigar. Hence my purchase, although I would have picked it up regardless, I dont mind supporting B&Ms at all. You can kinda see it in the first photo, but they had a decent selection of all three blends.

Great listen! I've had a few chances to spend time with Jaime, both pre and post Havana. Really enjoy talking with him.

If you listen hard enough you may hear a name or two you know.....
