I really appreciate that aged review too, for two reasons...

Firstly, I'd like to thank you again for offering me on of those cigars from that very cab, Ken when Fuzz and I visited last October for Havanathon.

Secondly, the discussion Rob has in the video on aging and comparing cocoa, chocolate to caramel, toffee, cream etc. is invaluable. I had the very same conversation when I rang Rob to 'pick his brain' on the H.Upmann Noellas in July this year, prior to smoking it, for my mid-2018 Video Review Series. Do yourself a favour and watch this video. Not only is it a good laugh, as usual, but very edifying.

Great video guys, I’ve been wanting to try a plpc for a while. I’ve never had a pl. Do these come in a 25 box or only a cab of 50?

Only cabs of 50. However, El Pres does offer quarter cabs (and less frequently, I think, half cabs) on 24:24 from time to time.

As @JohnS mentioned - El Pres does offer quarter and half cabs from time to time. Definitely recommend you grab a sampler when they come up again on 24:24. The PLPC is a great little cigar.

Always one of my favorite late evening smokes and one of the more consistent petit coronas.

I have a cab of PLPC's, LGR NOV 17's that I haven't

touched. Has anyone experienced anything with that code? Perhaps it's time to test?

Just received a cab with that exact code and date yesterday!  Obviously, have not tried one yet either.

I cracked one right off the bat. Plugged pretty bad but could not figure out why. I put in a bag with a hygrometer prior to it and it was only 64%. Wasn’t hard or anything. I’m just going to wait them out a while. Flavor was good so there’s hope. Even if the drill bits come out. ?

They are not exactly crackers ROTT. 64% is right on but they need more time than a lot of others to acclimate. Try another 3 or so months down the line for some of that mongrel.

Finally got around to watching the review. Great little review for what seems to be a great cigar.

But at the risk of looking like a kiss ass, I just want to thank @El Presidente and @Ferrero for really being on top of the whats going on in the forums, whether it's consciously or not.

I feel like there has been a lot of discussion recently about aging vs smoking, how it relates to budget and how a newbie is supposed to figure it out etc.

I certainly have participated in a few, so maybe it's just that I noticed it more, but I think it's been a recurring topic lately.

Now lo and behold you guys provide some thoughtful advice and discuss these issues candidly.

Way to run a forum. Kudos.
