Islandboy Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 I’ve been chipping away lately at stocking my humidor with bucket list regular production boxes. Checked off about 5 recently, most of which call for 3 or 4 years of aging ?. On my “lookout” short list next are La Gloria Cubana Medaille d’Or #2 and Saint Luis Rey Serie A. What’s on your list?
chris12381 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Just give me a walk in full of Ramón Allones 8-9-8. 1 1

So long as the true garbage has been picked out. A month of nothing but clearance or hand selected pricing would be very expensive for me... 1

There are several in the Cohiba line I'd like to try before investing in a box. Scored 898's earlier this week, which closed my list out. 8-9-8’s were my last real temptation but I missed them. Not sure I am missing much that I thought I really needed. Two very nice boxes of Bolivar PCs were on the list but that has been taken care of, as have PSP Monte 4 and some of the most beautiful Lusitanias I have ever seen. Its been a hell of a year. 1
Freddo Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Cohiba Lancero Partagas Lusitania Partagas Serie E2 The list goes on...

The La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.2, Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux (and du Gourmet for that matter), Saint Luis Rey Double Corona and San Cristobal de La Habana El Morro have not had formal announcements of discontinuation by Habanos S.A, but they've all not been seen since 2013/14 (the El Morro may be sooner). The Saint Luis Rey A was mentioned by our host as up for deletion (or already deleted) in March 2018... http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/topic/134104-saint-luis-rey-serie-a/?tab=comments#comment-838249 13 hours ago, Cubadust said: The only cigar that I’m missing is Partagas Serie D.5. This doesn't come up often, and I'm sure it's not a big seller, but I was only thinking a few days ago that at least it does come up, unlike the Partagas Serie D No.6! 10 hours ago, Derboesekoenig said: What's clearance month? Yes, as previously stated in this thread, our Host was offering clearances in June as the tax financial year in Australia goes from July to June. (I.e. last financial year for tax returns in Australia was July 1st, 2017 to June 30th, 2018) In regards to a dream regular production list, I'd love some Sancho Panza Belicosos and Trinidad Fundadores because my current late '16 and late '17 stock has been exemplary. I'd like some more Cohiba (Lanceros, Esplendidos, Coronas Especiales, Robustos, Siglo V and Siglo VI) but I'm confident that stock of this marca will replenish in the near future (i.e. end of the year/early next year due to recent crops).

Guess that just makes the hunt that much more meaningful, I’m adjusting my strategy accordingly.
joshhooper7 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 My initial idea for my Wineador was to have a drawer for each of my favorite marcas. Montecristo, Bolivar, HDM, Cohiba, Trinidad and Partagas. Over the last year or so I've bought way more Bolivar and Monte than anything else, so each of those have 2 drawers in there. Now the goal is to smoke as little of whats in my wineador for the next year or two so that everything inside has 3+ years of age on it. My last 2 boxes of Monte 4 are inside and they're from 2014 and smoking beautifully, plus lots of random stuff I've purchased that really makes my initial goal impossible - however - 6 marcas alone sounds boring, I'm glad I've got more variety! Can't really live without Fonseca 1's, JLS2, PLPC, RASS, and some good Punch Punch. As long as my humidor stays full and I keep filling up my coolerdor I'll be happy. It'll be nice to pluck full boxes 3-4 years down the road to replenish my wineador with and give me a consistent stock of 3+ year old cigars to smoke and enjoy daily
Bill Hayes Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 If I had the coin, all PSP Cohiba - Behike 54, Robusto, Siglo 6, Lanceros, Esplendidos Partagas - D4, Lusi, shorts Bolivar BBF SLR DC H Upmann - Connie A, Mag 50 Montecristo - Esp 2, No. 2 Trinidad reyes El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme
