I started off with a latte and a 2003 Des dieux. Then ran around shopping with the wife. Grabbed some grass fed New York strip steaks. Went fishing and caught a couple bass while smoking a 2014 Monte 1. Then grilled the steaks and ate dinner, sat down with some knob Creek 2001 batch 3 and a foothills hoptium IPA. It's raining so we aren't going to watch the fireworks, but I'd call it a successful day. Might have one more cigar but I'm a little sauced, so I might not enjoy it enough to take the plunge haha.

Temp 99, Dewpoint 74 for a heat index of 111. Oppressive to say the least.. Way to miserable to smoke but the pool party/cookout went well despite the pool being like bathwater.  Fireworks later.

4th is all about burgers, beers, and a VR XV. Posted the photo in daily smoke, but here it is again. Love these cigars.

Enjoyed sleeping in a little this morning. Quick lunch with my wife as we picked up the last few items for our family dinner. Had a chance for a quick smoke while setting up the smoker!

Didn't get any pictures of the smoked ribs, but I was told they were good! Capped off the evening watching my son set off fireworks with his little family. I enjoyed watching him being a dad and making sure everyone was being safe. I guess he was paying attention all those years after all!

Twas a lazy day today, partly due to the rum tasting exceptionally good last night. Having a 2012 Sancho beli with some ginger ale, because I’m pretty sure that’s what Thomas Jefferson did while he penned the Declaration of Independence.

Hung out with the family all day. Bbq and fireworks with the kids. Finally got to sit down and enjoy this Edmundo Dantes Conde Belicoso. Celebrating properly as a Mexican American
