I have a box.  The one I smoked recently was OK, but nothing special.  It tastes like a generic EL, even with the age on it.

These are pretty plentiful and can be found without much trouble. I've smoked a couple and they are okay. I also sold the box I used to have if that tells you anything.

I’m a big Trinidad fan and recently bought a box in Geneva, typical Trinidad - I think they’re good but no match for the Topes

Yes wish they had the Topes if they did I would buy and not even think of getting them! I have only ever had one Trinidad Reyes the Flavour was amazing but the draw was not so good:( while at the ship today I picked up two more Trinidad will post them tomorrow in the new purchase thread!

agreed, good but not as much as Topes. I have both of them, but smoke Topes more often/

Word on the street was that these had been coming around strongly in the last few years after a decade of disappointment. I guess some still aren't happy with them.

It was undoubtedly one of the worst-received ELs upon release. Consequently, these are still readily available at many trusted vendors. Sounds like they're still not a good way to spend your coin.

I really enjoy them, picked up a box in Paris a few years back. They are definitely the best Trinidad I have smoked, but I can say that I'm quite the noob when it comes to aged CC's.

My 2 cents: bought a box in 2014, smoked half & sold the rest on because I could get 25 RASCC & change. = There’s better cigars for less money.

Got a box of OUR DIC 07. Smoked two recently. Both were wonderful. I found them to be darker and richer than all the other Trinidads I have smoked.

I smoked one about six months ago and it was more bland than I remembered. They may be getting past their prime.

I think these might just be relegated to the trash heap of EL duds along with the Short Robustos T. Opinions are still all over the place on it. After 13 years I'm declaring it a bust.

Thank guys. I ran into a boy and wondered if it was worth the 350$ the guy is asking. I'm a big Trinidad fan. However I'm worry they past their prime, if they ever had a prime?

Had a box I purchased right out of the gates. Generic EL is a great description. Smoked one last year. Still no good. I gifted most away. You would be much better off spending $$ on current production Trini. IMO

A cigar that starts out mediocre ages into an old, mediocre cigar.  No amount of age magically turns a cigar that is not good, into a good cigar.

If you have a good cigar that has been resting for a year, and you say to yourself, "Wow, that's a good cigar.  I like the flavor but it tastes young and is a little too bold.", THEN you have a cigar that might benefit from age.  But as the saying goes, you can't polish a turd.

At $350 you could make a quick little profit on Bond Roberts I'm sorry to say. Seller's market for these right now.
