as a stand alone cigar,  excellent.

As a seller for HSA. A dismal failure.

It takes a special kind of genius to price a new smaller "D" release at not too far short of the "D4" and then to put it in a box of 20.....hang on....let's make shipping even more difficult and make it a timber box.

idiots.

I love them. It's not smart I know. Price per gram is ridiculous but that hasn't stopped me evidently.

I have gone through two boxes, one box worth is in my desktop ready to smoke, and one box in my storage.

It fills a need.  I don't enjoy the media corona or half corona...or the minuto/perla either.

Pretty good summation by El Prez.

Not a bad cigar in and of itself. Poor seller, stupid format, stupid vitola, high price.

I much prefer the D5. Much more workable and enjoyable vitola, similar blend (to my taste), 10 boxes available.

I wanted to hate it after @LordAnubis gave me one to try, because i think the vitola, presentation and whole idea was stupid...but damn if it wasn't a brillant tasting cigar. Thanks again for that, Mus!

That said, i havn't bought a box because of the price, so many cigars I'd rather have for that price. From the sounds of it, I'm not alone. ...

Anytime @ChanceSchmerr !

The cigar is great. It's the only Partagas cigar i like. I don't like anything else in the Partagas range.

Price point? :rotfl::rotfl:I think HSA is hoping not to sell them so that they can keep them all for themselves.

Or wait for another few years to put a REVISADO stamp and jack up the price.

I doubt the Anejados program will ever use actual existing models since the program is, IMO, a fraud perpetrated by HSA to liquidate failed experiments.

I would actually be surprised if another round of Anejados is released. The first round was an unmitigated critical and sales disaster. I'm betting they blew out all the garbage in the first run and have no more need as they no doubt overestimated the success of the program thinking they wouldn't need to hold any of these awful sticks back for a future Anejados run.
