Starting Time(s) for 24:24

Recommended Posts

Not sure what is going on with the starting time(s) for the 24:24 Tuesday through Thursday but

when I click on 24:24 for today the time said it started 1 hour ago and all the aged stock was sold.

Has the time changed.  I know that here on the east coast of the states starting time was 8:30 pm.

So maybe a mod. or someone in the "know" can help me out.

Does Oz have daylight saving time and I'm missing the boat by 1 hour.

If I remember correctly it used to be "first in first served" but if it is starting an hour

earlier then I guess that statement does not apply any longer.

Yes, for the last 3 days I have tuned in right on the stroke of 8:30pm EST USA, and sure enough, most of the items have a big red SOLD on them. Probably a good thing in my case since I'm overbought already, but it does bring up the question of whether we are on the wrong schedule, or is there something else we are missing.

Even if it starts an hour earlier, "first in first served" absolutely still applies...you're simply not first.

I see the same thing and yes I have been one of the guilty parties. I have tried numerous things to get in faster buy I think that certain systems are slower than others. A crummy wi fi connection is the kiss of death. I have given up on the trophys and gone for the other stuff with much better results. In truth there are no bad cigars on 24/24. Plenty of great stuff to go around on most nights. Hang in there. From one who has missed a ton of stuff I am sure that this platform is honest and above board.

Just a question PamunkeyHub know one is boo-hooing.  I have the utmost respect for Rob and crew / 24:24.

Yes aged stock does go very fast and I know that is the norm for 24:24 aged stock.  I guess I have to

start typing in hyper-speed (50 words a minute!) to lock down a fav. aged box!

Stay well mates.......CAO

The time is the same.

in order to help out with the system load I have the past few days loaded and hidden it in another forum and just moved it across at the regular time.

Nothing has changed ;)

Boy! That's going to cause a bunch of site traffic as everyone is searching for the hidden "easter egg" of the 24 24.

Good luck everyone! Happy hunting!

I believe only Site Admins can see that section. If we Mods could see those posts, those aged cigars would be sold the instant the post was released.

Every 'boo-hoo I can't get any cigars' post like this is another nail in the coffin for 24:24 as we know it.

@JohnS has some good advice.

I don't think this kind of feedback is necessary for a legit question. There is nothing Boo Hoo about validating the time. The posting time is misleading, so it seems reasonable to ask if there is a difference in time shift half way around the planet.

I think what Prez is doing us working. I remember when the server would buckle under the load, right at the moment when 24:24 used to go up. It seems much smoother and less error prone now.

Good job Prez! Thanks.

Agree to disagree... this question is asked and answered almost weekly. Taking five minutes to search and read a little would answer these questions.

If you're serious about getting the 'cream of the crop' or locker stock from 24:24 - you should be on the site and ready to roll around 8:15pm EST.

I look at 24 34 as fishing. When you go fishing part of the excitement is never knowing what you will catch. If every time you went you caught something on every cast, it would lose its appeal after awhile. Or if you caught a trophy fish every time,  soon they would quit being "trophys". With 24 24 you never know what you may pull in. Sometimes you strick out,  sometimes you catch a few,  and occasionally you land the trophy.  Personally, I enjoy the whole experience. Just my 2 cents.
