Montecristo Edmundo

As of late, what do you guys think of Montecristo Edmundo of 2015 or later?

 

I keep seeing raves about the Petit Edmundo but nothing about the Edmundo!

 

Personally, i love the size of the Edmundo more.

For some reason, the PE has always been better received than the Edmundo, and has been the case for at least the last several years. Personally, I've liked every PE more than every Edmundo I've had, so I have to concur with the gallery on this one.

The PE is my favorite Montecristo period. The Edmundo is not close. IMO

I may be in the minority, but I like the Edmundo better than the PE. I'll admit I'm not a big fan of petite robustos. I have a HP edmundo box from late 2014 that is smoking pretty well now. I'm yet to try a double edmundo, but I'm looking to get a couple to smoke this summer

Never had a PE, but I’ve got a 2015 box of Edmundos I’m working through. I really like them. They’ve definitely got some signature Montecristo spices, and I love the retrohale from these - very aromatic.

Of the three, I can say I love my Double Edmundos, like the PEs, and jury is still out on the Edmundos. I had an Edmundo this weekend and was perhaps the most vile tasting cigar I've ever had. The box looks amazing so I am assuming they need some down time still.

I agree with you. Don't love the petite robusto size at all, while the standard Edmundo is perfect for me. I have also smoked some terrible examples of this cigar as well, shockingly from the same box as the good ones some times. The inconsistency might be the issue with this one for the reviewers, but also, the flavors are more muddled than other mc cogars to my palate. Idk, I like an. They aren't my favorite monte, but I like em.

I've only had the PE, which I really like, but I would also much prefer a regular or double for the extra size. Given the comments here and elsewhere though, those are cigars I wouldn't buy blind.

Love Montecristo

Love Edmundo size 

Never had much luck w/ them until now, smoking through glorious ARG 14-15 boxes....finally found some that live up to what they should be like

I picked up a box of DIC 14 Edmundos (FOH 2nds) on the 24:24 about a year ago and I'm down to my last 6. For the most part they have been very good. There have been a few that were off, but the good ones were superb and I will be buying more.

PE is a size I would never buy, but I'd give the Double Edmundo a roll in the hay if I ever get the chance.

I really dislike the Edmundo. For me it's the retarded cousin of the Montecristo family, the one who doesn't even play the banjo…

I don't like the PE's size but IMHO it's the best representant of the stronger side of the marca. Never had a bad one.

Smoked two Edmundos over the weekend...was amazing. batch was from 2013/2014 dont have the box code got them in singles. Lots of smoke, smooth, creamy and nutty.

Some amazing one-off Edmundos came out in 2015 - the best since original release

For some reason the PE has been much easier to find. I love the full size EDM when available but I just hardly ever see them any more OTOH the PE has produced some rock star offerings. Before the shortage I scored a box of PSP PEs and they were among my favorites until gone. I just bought a box of PSP/HQ from the 24/24 a few days ago and they looked awesome judging from the pic  Can't wait to fire one up. A buddy of mine went off the reservation and bought a box of the full size variety from another vendor which turned out to be total rubbish ( I warned him) so be careful going elsewhere. I honestly cant tell the difference between Edmundo's and Petite Edmundo's, flavor profile wise...to me the Edmundo is just a longer smoke..tahts just me, good price on a 15er of Edmundo's right now

I've only had a 3x5 of petit edmundos. They weren't bad at all but nothing that made me want to grow more.  Some good monte 4 or 5? Anytime
