archosaur Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Speechless I really have to get down there one of these days 1
Fuzz Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Roo was a bit surprised, but it looked like it wanted another shot at the title. If the guy didn't back off, I think the roo would have had a go at him.

Closes the dogs windpipe until it passes out. The Jack's do it to each other when in a fight. Generally game over when one roo is in the choke hold of another. 1
Warren Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 You wait till you see how a Koala can mess you up. 2
Williamos Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 The fellow in the background laconically saying, "Let it go, son. Let it go." Like he's breaking up a bar fight. That's very funny.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Booyaa Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Superb, the look of shock on the roos face is tremendous. Are all roos tht aggressuve? Attackings dogs and the like?
Teq43 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Big right hand ! The dog and the kangaroo is safe, well done
Ethernut Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Looks like the guy has a knife strapped to his side that he was ready to pull. My question is similar to @Booyaa's, is that typical roo behavior? (I know nothing about roos)
Bulldog4 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I find it funny that roos flex when they are fighting typical bro haha
LordAnubis Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Wait! Pres! The only reason i buy from you is your mastercases are delivered 100% by kangaroos carrying them in their pouch... or so i thought! Is that not the case!?!?! That's Unaustralian! Pauline's gonna have a field day on this story! 1
clutch5150 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Classic! Better tell that gent to keep in left up as he threw that jab, he could have gotten countered!

Attackings dogs and the like? males (Jacks) are very territorial and are best avoided. The dogs in the vid are dogs used for pig hunting. They don't take a back foot and yet that one found itself in a choke hold with its head away from the roo. In wrestling terms, a perfect manoeuvre from the roo. 1

In Texas, it's just about a State of Emergency among many other lower southeastern states. We cannot kill enough of the wild pigs that root up millions of dollars in property damage.

cigcars Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 I saw that story & video on Facebook yesterday. Yeah, the Roo had the dog in a chokehold, and the side comments from the newscasters posting this story talked about how after the guy punched the Joey to make him let go, the Roo looked at him like, "Is that all you got!?" and how the man wisely vacated the area. To Hutch's question about Koalas -- YES!!!! They can do major, serious damage to you if they're in a sour mood or it's mating season. Just look at those CLAWS! And they're very strongly scented of Eucalyptis, since that's all they eat.
jat Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Koalas fight like nasty drunks and don't even get me started on Dropbears.
