Is it just me not paying attention but I fail to find this gourgeous cigar just about anywhere.

At least I haven't seen it on 24:24 for some time now.

I believe it's been at least a few weeks since I've seen the 898 on the 24:24 but recent production is available from vendors. I've seen JUN 15 and MAY 16 floating around, so no shortage I'm aware of.

MIA since about March.

I have had no shipments since that time. If MAY 16 is around then there is some hope we may yet see some.

Me too, but I thought it was obvious for everyone that this thread is about the Partagas, not a RA discontinued 14 years ago…

I still hunt down the odd box of discontinued RAs, and I am happily smoking some of my stash of the 2014 RE release for Germany, which was still available with German merchants  last I looked.

You make me curious: how do you "hunt" a reference which has completely disappeared from the European and Asian markets for over 5 years?

Read again the OP; it's obvious he's not talking about the german release…

I make a point of looking it up on any cigar merchant's website I hit, and specifically asking after it in any B&M.  To date, I have had luck twice.  There is still some old stuff floating about if one is patient enough...

Was referring to gweilgi's post, the one you called in to question....not the OP

Well, there's the Super Selection No.1 Coronas Grandes  42 x 155, close. Unfortunately Punch hasn't made any PR Dalias....

It's fascitating to see how threads can go astray...

We could start a new thread...Dalia, Brother where art thou? I lament the Cohiba Siglo V and La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No. 2 (as well as the Partagas 8-9-8).

If something can go wrong, it will. While it was obvious for most of us you didn't clarify. No surprise it went there...
