I am in the Qantas lounge.  Di says she will join me in 5 minutes and ducks away.

She comes back with a set of shoes .

She has been here 10 minutes. 

I looked at her amazed 

"They were 50% off"

Therapy required upon our return. God help me...she has ducked out from the lounge again.

My brother always mentions how much he saves when he buys something (golf related primarily), without you know mentioning how much the damn item costs in the first place.

So it's not always centered on the other gender lol.

I bought my Omega watch at the Sydney Airport DF whilst waiting to board my flight. Wasn't really planning on buying a watch, but the deal was really good (30% off the DF price, and they didn't charge me the usual Amex surcharge). The store was right next to the gate, and the lady managed to finalise the sale with 10 minutes left to board.
