Hurltim Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I am a huge fan of good tales and there are plenty here with the gift of gab like myself. I am thinkin...lets ramp this hummer up and hear some awesome stories of previous LFTH Sales. I have no idea what they are like so I am looking forward to your Tales From The Crypt 1
fabes Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Start doing mouse click or finger tapping exercises now. Purchasing during LFTH can be a thrill, but the most fun I've had was watching @HarveyBoulevard go on a rampage. 1
Fuzz AI Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Setup keyboard shortcuts, "Mine!", "1 PSP", "1 HQ", etc, before start of LFTH. When LFTH begins: Hit F5 repeatedly Click "Quote" to quote post for cigars you want Use appropriate keyboard shortcut Click "Submit Reply" Repeat At the end of LFTH, buy wife/girlfriend jewellery to offset the bollocking you will shortly receive. 2

I will clear a nice spot on the concrete floor of the garage for the next month. LOL! Thanks for the advice! 1
HarveyBoulevard Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I just get all tingly when I hear LFTH... I have no idea of what I got but I do remember wrecking a couple of them. It has to be a logistical nightmare but I will always be ready...

As far as I remember you basically scored all the ch's and dc's hahaha. Well I dont remember that good but hell yeah it ring the bell. No good stories sorry. Scored a few boxes and changed few keyboards. Thats all
topdiesel Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Just like the 24:24 except it lasts longer, has smaller quantities of stock per image shown, hundreds of members going crazy watching and contemplating whether or not to buy (until they can't stop themselves), marca after marca after marca of beautiful stock. No time to consider pricing, you just have to know you want it the second you see it. I guess it is different. Oh right, it is also a ton more work for the Czar crew.
Popular Post WarriorPrincess Posted September 27, 2016 Popular Post Posted September 27, 2016 The most important thing to remember when participating is be kind to Dee, as i am the one on the end of all emails coming in fast claiming a box. When i have to send an email back starting with "sorry to disappoint ....." i feel terrible so all I can say is blame Rob No doubt you will all have fun, even if you are just observing, as it is fast and furious until the last box is sold 6
Jimmy_jack Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I have a wish list that I'm trying to complete. This may help solve some of the dead space issue in my wineador.
NMJoe Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 If you can't or won't be buying, It's a better spectator event than many other activities around (note: I did NOT say all other activities).
CaptainQuintero Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Back in day; a couple of hundred people all logged on refreshing manically, one or two members with greased lightning internet taking everything 5 seconds before you've finished looking at the picture, the other couple hundred people fighting over the scraps left from the speedy high rollers. A half dozen or so new guys throwing in replies that don't meet the requirements: throwing off everything and everyone. The feint high pitched scream caught on the wind of smithy pulling at his hair, the gentle tinkle of the fragments from a wine glass tossed over the shoulder of Lisa The pictures of half man, half vagazzled pink unicorns... It was around that time that Sven arrived to help out. Taking stock of the situation, he quickly clambered back into his longboat shouting something about swamp tobacco, never to be seen again 3

kuma Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Remember to pay down some of your credit card balance. But that will only help if you are quick on the draw and get your request(s) into Di fast enough. This is a "big boy / girl event. For your nevers have some good booze on hand or a few Xanax for the first half hour. Wow aged stock most likely from PCC and Rob. Still have a few aged smokes from the last LFTH / LFTW. This should be a real barn burner! Good luck to all.

Or, am I wrong? This is what Rob had said in the instructions per the LFTH thread...

There is a requirement to be polite though, so a one word post such as 'Mine' may be disregarded.....
anjimj Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I have missed my kids soccer practices, missed picking up my take out dinners, and the birth of my 3rd kid over LFTH.

That way, you check that you did post in time. Example; 5 boxes available, but your post was the 6th, or some greedy guy took all 5 in the first reply (I'm looking at you Manny! ). But do not forget to send that email, and don't leave it for the next day. Else you will have a rampaging Di on your hands, and that box may go to the next person. Plus, you could be banned from future LFTH.

"Bollocking"! We really need to add this term to the American lexicon. Perfectly descriptive, with no current equivalent.
