Winter has officially hit us here in Oz. I am in Sydney to catch up with the lads tonight to watch the State of Origin game and looking forward to it 

Let's give a call out to your best cigar of May? The cigar you can still remember....the one that made you remember why you love cigars so much. 

For me, those TOS late 2015 Diplomatico Number 2. 

By God they are brilliant.

Club Allones El 2015, picked up four boxes now ....they are excellent ...really had to restrain myself going a little deeper  with Monday's 24 @24 . If you do not have a box, grab one while you can people . Sensational cigars  .

It was a 2009 Trinidad robusto extra. Can still taste the honey/cinnamon combo it was brilliant

Diplomatico RE Paises Bajos

Simply brilliant cigar for being a 2015. Though I'm a Diplo "homer" I feel this cigar has what it takes to be a high 90's cigar when mature. Buy,Buy,Buy!!!

I've had a few great RA Club Allones this month and also went very deep on them but my best cigar in May was a Bolivar Simones RE Canada TEB OCT 08.

I wholeheartedly agree about the Ramon Allones Club Allones 2015 LE...a great cigar! Alas, I did not have it this month. I think my favourite cigar in May was a humble aged ROA Ago 2006 H.Upmann Petite Corona. I guess H.Upmann can't put a foot wrong lately!

As much as I love the RyJ Churchills, my top cigar for May was EASILY a HDM Double Corona.  I purchased an aged box from the Pres.  Code is BLU FEB 09.

The cigar was perfect!  I've never had such an experience before.

H upmann Mag 56 EL 2015

Blew me away.  As some have said hear.....10 days ago and still tasting it!

LUB MAY 14 HUPC. Smoked WAAAAY beyond its 2 years... AND it was the ugly duckling from a box of Rob's "seconds."   The leather had mostly gone to that Upmann creaminess and it had well-defined thirds.  Can't wait to dip back in!      !

Toss up between an hup #2 from lub oct14 and SC El morro from ame dic12.

 

Both were marvelous.
